you can finish the game with a (without stealth) heavy armor+ assault rifle build just fine, you just need to be prepared for certain events.

Do you do majorly single-shot with the assault build? SMG builds are made for unloading ~25 bullets per turn, maybe that's their DC weakness.

I should've taken 3 different SMG calibers before going to DC. Still got the save though.

Isn't resource management in DC a joke now? You have very quick access to the Faceless warehouse, which has more ammo, parts and weapons of all types than you'd ever need. It's also a lot harder to piss of the Faceless guarding it than you'd think.
Starting to think I should ignore that warehouse in future runs.

Finally reached DC again after loosing my saves. This time I'm on my first voyage as an electrical cadet and I have to say Underrail really helps me pass time quicker. Styg even included maps in DC so maybe this time I will finish it and after my contract is finished maybe it will just in time for the expansion.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
How are you supposed to deal with the shit Deep Caverns throw at you if you don't have stealth? I have it, but I keep wondering since the creatures down there just keep coming, the dude even tells you that you should avoid hunting them down or something because they are legion.
