Not sure if anyone here has played the Delaware St John games, since they're not very well-known. I did play the first one, though I can't remember whether I actually bought it or got it free from a giveaway site. Nevertheless I enjoyed it quite a bit, but it's incredibly short. I finished it in about 3 hours. You can actually try it here if you've never heard of the series before: http://www.bigfishgames.com/downloa...t-john-the-curse-of-midnight-manor/index.html

It's basically a first-person adventure game series, but more of a slideshow first-person in the same style as Myst and Shivers. It's not scary and intense like Amnesia is, but it works up a good atmosphere, and I'd rate it to be almost as good as the first Darkfall. It's more for the casual gamer too, in the sense that you won't find yourself getting stuck that often.

All that being said, the developers are now planning to work on a 3rd sequel (Volume 4) to the series. If this is your kind of thing, check it out. I backed it at $50 for the hard copy, as well as the fact that it includes all the previous games in the series.

(I doubt the project will meet its funding goal though)

A developer offering something tangible and people are not interested while talkative nobodies get 5K$ easily, disappointing.
I think that this is one of the legitimate cases where piracy is to blame, probably no one cares because they already have all the games already produced, and not because they paid for them.

I played Delaware St. John: The Town With No Name (or something like that) I just didn't..... care for it. I didn't even finish it.

    I do wish them luck.
