The trick is to put a fine layer over the whole image that is almost transparent but has a tiny bit of other color in it (blue for example). The naked eye won't be able to tell the difference, but Dominions4 stops its province madness. Then put a pure white pixel in every province. Done.

It comes the time when a man needs to admit defeat. Can't avoid the "endless snowy provinces" problem, the fucking thing keep appearing in any edit I try. I am sorry for my lack of skill and hit me on PM if you can give help.

Badly. Like a dark mirror of sqeecoo , I get instead to clean up a mess done by a co-worker during vacation times, so it's hell.

If someone feels free to try to map it up (15-20 provinces par player, Ermor center and Starspawns on a corner) go wild. I am sorry, but I could not predict to have several days in a row with 10-12 hours shifts.

I hope to get some breathing time tomorrow, but afterward it's hell time again.

We're not Sweden Bielorussia South Korea Great Britain, and I like the food, the people and the climate. Being overworked for shit pay is merely the price to be in a supposedly first world country going the way of the dodo.

Eh R'lyeh is pretty weak - strongest in MA but still unimpressive.

Ermor obviously is very strong but since its the designated bad boy you can tailor your build/nation to squash it.

I strongly recommend Ermor successor states for this task, Pythium can field banishment communions year one and remove skele with extreme efficiency.

Sound counsel: then how you manage to beat the other two factions (your "allies") with Pythium, laughably inefficient against proper nations? The point is, you won't win here by self-sacrifice. There is a balance, and I'm honestly kinda curious about the nation choices that will be made by Team Free Peoples.

Almost perfect, just 20 or so provinces in the forest. Another run with a filter should work, methinks.

I'm truly sorry, but work has been hellish and motivation kinda hard to find. Should be better this weekend, if I can't finish the map I'll.... dunnow, commit seppuku or something.

What, exactly, do you need help on? The pixel thing? A new map? Something else entirely?

Edit: If you just want a map for ~6 players, with bad guy surrounding and bad guy middle, there's probably a few ways to make that work even if it's not perfectly symmetrical. Does that matter?

So, while I wait for my porn download to finish (French 19th century literature is an aquired taste) I'm here to propose another stupid Dominions game. This time with an exceedingly weird if simple ruleset.

There will be two teams, but NO DISCIPLES. Hear me out. The two teams will be asymmetric, and play with different rules. Age will be MA for Nations-related reasons.

TEAM EVIL: The Twin Gods of Madness and Death. MA Ermor and MA Starspawns. They make a fixed team, they both win or die as one. They get a good position in the map and a good advantage in location, scaling with the number of opponents. Nonetheless, will require some bold moves to triumph. They share the same victory objective as the other team, 3 Throne points (this is subject to change). I repeat, they win as a team. No Disciples though, they are both at full power.

TEAM FREE NATIONS: The Free Nations are normal Dominions nations, joined in a fragile alliance against Team Evil. They are allied in theory and will need to cooperate to survive, but for them victory isn't shared. Only ONE Free Nation is going to win with 3 Thrones, and how they are going to betray the others is what makes this interesting. Wait for them to be weakened by Team Evil? Reconquer the Thrones? Rush and pray for the best? Be the sucker and fight for others? Your call. I expect 4 to 6 players in this team, let's hope we get enough.

This is the map I was thinking about, I'll do it with the Battle of Wesnoth map maker or something. Ermor connected with the "circle" by some passages, but not too many.

This is a cool concept. Maybe I will make a scenario for an RTS I mod a lot. But I don't know how I would enforce the teams and rules, except with the honor system.

the map looks pretty great actually my one issue with the distribution is emor is gonna be screwed if he only gets 7 prov i would say try giving all the good guys 15 on the dot and make them relatively equal for fairness sake then 13 for emor maybe making those cities city population so emor can get a head start before they are crushed. the first like 10 turns for them are pretty weak and give ryleth a tad fewer then 30 provinces.

emor needs the population for money for forts and temples otherwise there pretty awful as there main stay is the undead coming out of there forts being 5 times better then regular skeleton and souless
