Snorkack v hello friend - Game 2

:shredder:
I was like this near the end.

What can I say?
hello friend sisters proved that hard work can be undone by slight inexperience. And Snorkack didn't give up when 3 Battle Sisters Squads arrived at his base with his army decimated.
That loss was hard to take. But you should be proud of taking the match up to that point when barely a week ago you'd be nothing but dust on the ground.
One of the most competitive match so far. Bring on match 3!

5:20 AM - Ex: im really mad sob lost
5:20 AM - Ex: lol
5:20 AM - RK47: me 2
5:20 AM - Ex: could have won easily twice
5:20 AM - RK47: he worked so hard
5:20 AM - RK47: and got so far
5:20 AM - RK47: in the end
5:20 AM - RK47: it doesnt even matter

it was close, but not quite 1200 HP close. I started building a new base in the right corner and already had another barracks up.

The mistake was going for Canoness Pistol without power plant first. You completed the sanctuary but there's no power to do any research.
There is a point in getting Sanctuary up without power generator - if you want Seraphims.

So, me and hello friend .
I was completely caught off guard in the first match. Then got my hopes up in the second match by scoring a close last-minute win. Then all eventually shattered in a really disappointing third match and I'm out.

Somehow I feel like that was the most German way I could possibly lose.

Anyways, thanks to Hellofriend for the games, and wow, this guy trained effectively!

And Game 3 went by like lightning.

:what:
If you play Tau in Skirmish vs Sisters of Battle AI in a small map, they will rush you with Missionary and often harass your stealth suits, you'd be stuck with a 50 second training time for Tau Commander from the barracks and there's nothing you can do but dance the stealth suits away. I think that is where the inspiration for this rush comes from.

More time to practice amongst ourselves is good, since quatlo is the winged hussar of RTS.

Anyway I played a few friendly sparring matches with certain unnamed fellow Virgins™ and it seems like it might be competitive.

Never too late to practice with tourney participants.

Deso (Ork) vs Jaedar (DE) Game 1

Intense battle all-round. But DE's economy is way better at absorbing losses than Orks, and it showed in the end when DE's Talos showed up in T2.
I think the strangest part is both parties insistence on capping the Critical Point while a battle is raging on.
That, and deso's floating a bit too much.

Deso (SM) vs Jaedar (Necron) - Game 2

Nice start by deso here, but that 10 HP scarab was a massive opportunity lost.
The heavy bolter marines were pushing so hard in T2, it was a near thing - but the focus was lacking when Destroyers arrive.
Alas, deso floated again and never recovered from the Destroyer rout.
