For people who liked C&C, there is this mod. They are still updating it and coming with new missions later on this year. You don't need the original game, just download the mod:

There are two campaigns, a Soviet and a GDI campaign (they mix all 4 factions). And a bunch of random missions. Most of the more difficult than in the original game. And occasionally there are people playing online as well. Usually in the evening on European times. There are 16 really tough and well made coop missions as well. Missions are entertaining and difficult till the end unlike in the original games. Really well polished for something that is free. There are a few missions in there that are much harder than in the original C&C expansions.
Honestly EA should just throw some money at these guys to make a proper C&C sequel.
Must download if you are a fan of the original C&C games imo.
