Really fun game where you actually do have multiple ways of approaching any given situation. Even doing cheesy shit like training a bunch of enemies to a cliff and freezing the floor so they all slide off is really fun for some reason.

Come to think of it, Dark Messiah has nearly infinite "haha, this is so fucking cheesy" potential, the godmode kick notwithstanding.

Ubi's Might and Magic looks slightly less gay in a first-person view.
The Plot is so bad it's entertaining. Epic ego stroking that can put Bioware to shame.

Dark Messiah is unreasonable levels of fun. It's very much like Deus Ex in the regards that, while it has fairly constrained levels, the amount of freedom you have in finding a unique way to finish off enemies or approach an objective is what makes it a hundred times more fun. Mind you, it's not EXACTLY like Deus Ex - it's very linear nonetheless, and the closest thing you're going to get to "wide open, multiple-approach-riddled spaces" is near the end of the game in a super scary spooky spider dungeon, but it's still great in spite of that.
Very replayable, too.

I've never understood the love around here for the first person action adventures of Sir Kicksy Kicksalot. I played it through once in 2007-ish and uninstalled.

Great combat mechanics but most everything else is pretty shallow. Arkane seems to always develop solid baselines for games but never follow through.

Great combat=great replaybility, which is good because it is otherwise short.

Poison is insane in its lethality.

This. Someone said the game is underrated. Not on the Codex, that's a fact. Here it's a pretty overrated game that mostly amounts to an ok action game with lots of kicking and some gimmicky physics.
