It's a sort of documentary project with a collection of interviews with numerous game developers. They're usually about specific topics and split in small clips like this:

These are the most relevant to the Codex, I believe:

Chris Avellone
Warren Spector
Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk
Ken Levine
Richard Garriott
Marcin Iwinsky
Todd Howard

They also have interviews with Sid Meier, Peter Molyneux, John Carmack, Hideo Kojima, Rob Pardo and other big names. You can see the full list here.
It's missing some pretty important RPG developers like Tim Cain and Sakaguchi, which is quite disappointing when you look at some of the hacks that were interviewed, but apparently it's an ongoing project, so they might be interviewed in the future.

I really wished they didn't go for quantity over quality with these interviews. You have people like Sid Meiers and Will Wright grouped up with people like Brianna Wu complaining how hard it is being a woman. And the only 2 black people on that list were obvious token hires, since the best they could find was that woman who's SJW game, Sunset was about doing housework and sold like shit so she had a meltdown on Twitter and quit the industry, and the other black guy who's entire claim to fame was that he once wrote for Newsweek several years ago and that he thought Resident Evil 5 was racist, no seriously, that's his entire Wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N'Gai_Croal
