According to the creator, the book will have the most impressive backing, with support from legends such as Paul Cuisset (Flashback), Ron Gilbert (Monkey Island), Dino Dini (Kick Off), Martin Edmondson (Shadow of the Beast), Dan Malone (The Chaos Engine), Jim Sachs (Defender of The Crown) and Gary Penn (The One Magazine) along with many other developers and journalists who will be contributing to the book.

The amount of nostalgia that this thing can evoke in me is staggering.
But how to put this, I'd rather replay those games than read about them in a book?

I have an Amiga and Amstrad and every game on SD

However I also have the retrogaming book of the history of gaming and I still like to look at the book every so often

Just a book with stretched out screenshots of Commodore games and small descriptive blurbs ..... ?

Fine.... ? I guess... ?

I don't think many actual Amigans will need or want this coffee table book when there's a rather large amount of informative sites like Amiga Lore, Codetapper's Amiga Retro Site, Hall of Light, Amiga Magazine Rack, Amiga GFX archive and various forums with experts answering any questions. Plus lots of content was accessed from those very links, anyway.

I can see how a book might appeal to others, but I dunno, to me it just seems like an unnecessary waste of trees.
