    So maybe I'm just not a BRO anymore, but the brofist option disappeared on me a few weeks ago. It was working fine, now it's missing...nothing changed on my end.

    I'm using firefox with no-script, but everything on this site is white listed on my no-script.

    Is anyone else having this kind of trouble, know a solution, etc?

    Sorry if this was answered elsewhere, I didn't see a related thread.

    Yeah Noscript sometimes blocks some javascript function even if you whitelist everything from a website, and since this forum software makes outrageous use of it I'm not surprised that some functionality is missing.

    In my ideal world Javascript would be gone from the Web. I don't need useless smooth transitions and other such largely useless features.

    Some of the features have their use, sure, but overall in my opinion the added clutter and distraction that they also bring to the table is a bigger inconvenience.

    It's dead and gone, but I definitely prefer an older lo-fi board like Phpbb over forum software that tries to match Facebook feature for feature.

    Hmm, well that is indeed a bummer, had never heard of that

    DU, this happened approx 2 weeks ago btw. As I say it was working fine, then it just disappeared. (if you check my usage log you'll see I used the 'brofist' function a few times). Anyway my hope is you forgot a semi-colon or something while coding the site, and maybe it's something that can be fixed on your end?

    Remember, for every caller there are 10,000 customers with the same problem who didn't call. :D

    Yeah, my home computer uses both and I never have a problem. I don't use no-script at work, but do use firefox.
