WTF? Civ 5 with all DLC 92% off? Is this a bug? http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/575/
The key is bundling in endless crap DLC. The total package is $12.29, which is a respectable 40% of the base-game's price.

Also, the lack of lots of great discounts on AAA titles seems to be benefiting indie games, at least if WEG's catalogue is any barometer. Based on simultaneous players, it looks like every WEG title is doing really well. Primordia, for example, has the most simultaneous players since November 2014 (when Steam cards were added and we released a huge patch).

Does anyone here know of any decent sci fi themed FPS that are now on sale?
I already have the Half Life games, Jedi Knight games, most Wolfenstein games. Deus Ex series (though I would not classify those as full FPS), System Shock 2 (similar thoughts as with Deus Ex), Doom 3 and expansion (not interested in Doom 4 as I already mentioned on another thread), and * sigh * Aliens Colonial Marines (it was a birthday gift)

Is AssCreed Black Fag worth $7.50? I hear its the best creed game. i have never played any.

The naval portions are mildly entertaining for a couple of hours. The land-based missions not at all, unless you enjoy 'tail the NPCs' missions from the previous games and have no issue with the majority of land missions being that.

Is Rebel Galaxy worth spending 10 eurobucks? Could it be enjoyable for someone who likes space combat games (not space trading/boredom sim etc.) type games?

BattleTech A Beautifully Desolate Campaign
So I'm currently considering whether to buy the following games:
Styx: Master of Shadows (http://store.steampowered.com/app/242640) - currently 75% off, I'm looking for something similar to Dark Messiah, is this a good fit?
Invisible, Inc. (http://store.steampowered.com/app/243970) - -66%, TB stealth, everybody seems to love it
Thea: The Awakening (http://store.steampowered.com/app/378720/) - -40%, looks really neat but can anyone who has actually played it give their opinion?
Tabletop Simulator (http://store.steampowered.com/app/286160/?snr=1_5_9__300) - 50% off, looks like a great tool for when you want play an RPG online without giving up on the tabletop experience but I'm afraid it might be too limited for that in the long run.
Kult: Heretic Kingdoms (http://store.steampowered.com/app/277650/) - 75% off, how is the gameplay and does it run on modern systems?
Kholat (http://store.steampowered.com/app/343710) - 60% off, narrated by Boromir, it has to be good, right?
Master Reboot (http://store.steampowered.com/app/251850) - -70%, I added it to my wishlist for some reason and forgot about it until I got the sequel, Soul Axiom, from a bundle. It wasn't that great of an experience tbh, with clunky controls and lots of filler content but I might just play Master Reboot for completeness' sake if it's different (read better) than Soul Axiom.

So help me separate shit from The Shit good people of the Codex.

Invisible Inc is pretty good. Definitely worth it.

Lots of people on the Codex enjoy Styx. I wasn't a big fan personally, but it's not an awful stealth game. A cut above what we get nowadays.

It's a stealth game and apparently a good one.

Thea has an unique card battle system, and while it may not be a truly deep experience, it's definitely worth the sale price.

I bought Thea at release, they released bunch of content updates for free during the time.

Only spent 2 euros on Punch Club, what is like 150-200 euros less from what I usually spend. This sale is underwhelming. I got most of the shit on sale from bundles and previous sales.
My kid played TF2, got some items and sold em on market for like 8 euros so he got himself cs: go for free.
Was thinking about the Just Cause 3/New Tomb raider bundle, seems both games tanked in sales.

Cdkeys.com have been selling doom for like 38 dollars for like 4 months now, and they are totally legit and its a steam key, lol.

Sounds like a cool idea, but I don't know what the fuck they've done at cdkeys.com with cannot into search. I search for "soma" and get a ton of shit that has the letters "sma" in it somewhere. Before anybody starts: tried with both Firefox and Chrome. What a dumbfuck website.

Evil within?

It's a hybrid of Silent Hills mindfuckery and Resident Evil shoot-zombies-in-the-eye.

Not really survival horror, but Deadly Premonition has an horror theme (similar, almost to the level of fanfiction, to Twin Peaks), and there are interesting mechanics here and there, like having to refuel your car.
