Brofist for Jeremy Brett. There might be Sherlocks with better production values, but there might not ever be a Holmes actor as messed up as Holmes was supposed to be.

Are Two Worlds games and their DLC worth it? They seem to be very cheap now.

I played TW2 around the time it came out and it felt banal shit boring, aside from the crafting and spell systems. I don't know if patches, mods and DLCs made it better later, though.

Two Worlds is a very enjoyable game if you enjoy exploration. A nice non-level-scaled open world with some quite interesting areas. Shit story, but who cares.

Two Worlds 2 is not worth playing though, they took away the very enjoyable exploration of the original and made a linear game. With shit story too.

I recommend TW to those who enjoy exploration, I recommend TW2 to no one.

Would you recommend TW2 to Metro?

TW2 was fun enough, just get WorldMerge mod and you're set. I squeezed plenty of enjoyable hours out of it. Although I do have shit taste. :smug:

I've never played TW2 but I remember Konjad coming into CDS all upset because he trusted some NPC in it who lied to him and scammed him. Then half an hour later he felt even more betrayed when for some reason he gave the same NPC another chance at trust and got tricked AGAIN.

Only the finest rpgs offer such emotional engagement. His anti-recommendation is clearly just shame and bitterness.

(Also I'm.not sure if that story is more a reflection on Konjad for being gullible, or RPGs in general for conditioning players to expect random guys on the street to be inordinately helpful and trustworthy more often than not.)

That sounds like my experience from Planet Alcatraz playthrough. All side quests went to "I have nothing to pay you" and when you kick their ass - they indeed have nothing in the pockets. Last thing you notice is incoming grenades rain from local authority for harassing citizens.
And the first person, who paid for my job, was "bridge troll" - in this game he's black old geezer.

XCOM Enemy Unknown is on sale, just as the full pack, but not the Enemy Within expansion alone. ffs.

Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Codex Year of the Donut I'm very into cock and ball torture
Konjad

You can buy the expansion alone on Steam, it's also on sale for 8.24 EUR (from Europe)
However... the pack with the game + expansion + the DLCs is 7.49 EUR.

=> Buy the pack, gift someone the base game. I might do the same. Tempting.

I will let you know if I do get it if I got an extra or not. I am not sure yet. On the one hand I had fun with the base game and would not mind playing again with the expansion - on the other my 40+ hours of weekly assignments in addition to school and online classes don't really leave me much time to do anything that takes longer than writing a few Codex posts here and there.

Usually the pack will tell you if you get an extra copy in your cart; I can pretty much guarantee you it won't though really only a handful of valve games do the whole extra copy crap and beyond that it's mostly pre-order bonuses.

Konjad Jasede Looks like XCOM: Enemy Unknown Complete is now 5,99€ on GamesPlanet France. Activates on Steam (key is sent via e-mail), and it comes out to a bit over half the current Steam price if you're paying in US$ - about $6.60-6.75 after conversion.
