Meh. It's just concept art. Stuff someone made for them. It doesn't mean "Fallout 3" will be anything like this. And even if it looks like this, will they actually get your dialog and combat right? I still doubt it very much.

Eh, I feel the same way, I don't really like it. For some reason these pics (like the Vault Boy one) remind me of Fallout 2 (bad thing), more like a Fallout parody than Fallout, with the people laughing over the dead body (dark humor!). Too much clutter, not the Junktown "fortified wall of junk" feeling but rather the feeling that some people put guns in the middle of a junkyard. Meh.

The only thing holding that Paradise Falls sign up is that ladder to the left.

This isn't a bad picture but it looks really cluttered and feels like random stuff was placed whereever. I mean, why would a sign like that be in the middle of the road? And the star-ball thingie as well? And all that other shit as well? If it was ment to be a defensive position wouldn't all that stuff be cleared away and walls erected to help the defenders?

The image does make me think of Fallout ignoring those nitpicks though.

It does it for me. The only thing that I feel is off is the clear blue sky. It should have at least been a sunset or cloudy. That's my opinion. I just don't picture blue skies in Fallout. Even though, due to the viewpoint, we never actually saw the sky...

Well as Morrowind proves, having no gameplay at all is better than the pedestrian attempts at gameplay we got with Oblivion. So given the choice, I think I'd rather have a book full of nice, professionally drawn Fallout-ish glossies than the shitfight I expect from Bethesduh's Fallout 3.

It's so embarassing when people with no sense of humour try to be funny. If this is the kind of wittiness we'll have to put up in Fallout 3, it's already a catasthrope.

in the concept art, those people are also smiling about that dead body, like this is LoL, you know, reminds me on Iraq somehow, probably he took some pictures of those soldiers and then did some little tricks with the photoshop filters and voila, concept art was done.

That isn`t art in my eyes. :P

The picture is simply meh for me. At least there's a glimmer of Fallout, but the whole piece just doesn't look right to me and I can't quite figure out why.

Is it just me or is that music getting worse?

Yeah, first thing I thought of was Iraq too.

Picture's OK, but I'm not gonna bust a nut over it.

Good to see that you accepted your destiny of being a dumbfuck, Dagorkan. Would you like to apply for the membership of the DF guild? Volourn is the guildmaster due to his immense dumbfuckery.

Don't worry! Joining (and then becoming head of) the Dumbfuck Guild does not preclude you from joining (and then becoming the head of) other guilds. You can be Chief Dumbfuck and Philospher King and Quarterback all at the same time.

I'm not a Dumbfuck any longer, Slave. I've been promoted. I am a Pretty Princess now, tool. Take that.

    Tool.
