Eh, it didn't really go anywhere. I made a silly joke about Fargo in response to Dave, but he seems to have taken it seriously and/or as an opportunity to compliment Fargo on his business acumen.

Brian's comment on the Codex's 2nd order crowd-funding drive was pretty funny though :)

Your ignore list.
It can't be worse than the first Hitman movie.

@WadjetEyeGames I love the Kickstarters for creating a promo to pitch to larger, more corporate investors. INVEST-CEPTION

How can it be so hard to make a decent Hitman movie. All you have to do is mixing Da Vinci code with James Bond. It's not rocket science.

Agent 47 is supposed to be a cold emotionless killing machine. It's hard to make a movie with such an unempathic character. It's different in a videogame, because he's a blank slate allowing the player to fill his shoes while playing.

bull

it's absolutely easy to make a decent hitman movie, even the main actor shouldn't be able to spoil it precisely because 47 barely emotes
the problem is that making such a movie would require restraint and subtlety so we're fucked

Christ, that Hitman trailer. The only positive thing I can say is that they at least held off on the reboot longer than Spiderman.
Can't believe they stole the "locked in here with me"-schtick from Watchmen. And that shitty Voodoo Chile cover. Ugh.
Ciarán Hinds, you're better than this.

Take the middle ground and cast Keanu Reeves.
