When you dig deeper than Nessus itself you'll notice 2000+ threads about BioWare's waifus. One of these, dedicated to one Miranda, is notable amongst even those for closing in on 4000 pages. Apparently, this one thread was so (in the words of Master Writer Gaider himself) toxic that 'the forum is now closed'.

The Codexer's Burden

Take up the Dexer's burden, The struggle for incline --
Kickstart another Torment And preach against decline;
And when your goal is nearest The end for others sought,
Watch greed and mainstream gamers Bring all your hopes to nought.

Take up the Dexer's burden And reap his old reward
The blame of those ye better, The unmonocled horde --
The cry of blinded fanboys (Ah, slowly!) toward the light:--
"Why brought they us from bondage, Our loved Bethesdian night?"

Take up the Dexer's burden, Ye dare not stoop to less--
Nor call upon indifference To cloke your weariness;
By all ye like or dislike, By all ye play or do,
The Xbawks-playing masses Shall weigh your gods and you.

"I have stood knee deep in DRM and Quest Markers, and filled my mouth with Mtn Dew. I have seen Sony Servers fall. I have lain with Xbox One and copulated with the Playstation 4. I have dug trenches for the Old School refugees; I have murdered Kickstart Projects where the ground never thaws, and starved the PC masses into faith. A Gamer's shadow burnt into the Computer Screen. A house of Graphic cards in the trashbin. The PC Crowd, the PC Crowd, Codex! trod and bled and denied GTA and starved and beaten and murdered and enslaved. This is your coming century! They will eat them Codex! they will make console casuals of you all and they will bury their gamepads into your ribs and they will eat your hearts!"

It's over, lay down your weapons and jump into that ditch right over there:

Well, it's not like Scrooge needs much more characterization other than "He's Donald's uncle, rich as fuck and he's searching for treasure because he wants to become even richer", something that can be easily transmitted in the intro. Sure, there is a lot more to his character, but that's more than enough to accept why you're playing as him in a platformer game.

Bullshit, 2 hours of cutscenes and flashbacks showing his traumatic childhood and motivations + possibility of romance, or I just don't care.

Besides, he's a CIS white rich old plutocrat, I don't feel like helping someone that already has everyting.

and thats why we need a big world of war or a plague every 50 years or so.

I think this is what the Biowhore developers wanted to say with ME 3 ending. lol.
