Only reason to not play EE is if you are autistic and prefer the safe and known that all autists cling to.
Not really, most changes that come from EE are negative. You know this, it has been explained to you, in detail, several times over. Why do you insist on being so utterly idiotic?

In EE you can't remove the cosmetic stoneskin effect. Also the new shields, leather armor, chain mail, splint mail, helmets and sprites look terrible. NearInfinity is buggy, the UI doesen't fit the original visual style, and for all this you get nothing in return

Because what is explained by autists does not mean much to me. I am not in a business of listening to mentally ill.

Anyone tried Black Pits in BG2 ? I managed to finish the first one, but have no patience to the second.

I've tried to finish BGee 1+2 in one run, but some extremly annoying bugs stopped me from doing this - that tiefling chick from theatre don't want to teleport us back to athakla, also dialogue with Cernd is broken and because of this I can;'t finish druid cove quest.

I have latest patch etc, but maybe I've broken game with some mods (unofficial polish localization and mod cutting off new content) but I overwritted all BG2EE folder with my clean backup and still have those problems :/ .

Also person who created default script (the one every character starts with) should be killd with fire - if I want cast stoneskin I would cast it, I don't need stupid script do it for me :/

I haven't played it but I think I heard it was pretty good. I'm pretty sure there's a fight against 2 demiliches in it.

I just played a bit of BG:EE, the fact you can now zoom in - zoom out with mouse roll is awesome. But are those bugs with recent patches that people mentioned still present?

Well you needed 24h to find a post I quoted from you and reply. I don't think I am the dumb one here...
Or maybe Lilura has a life.
Nobody that visits 'Dex has a life. That is like saying everyone on the internet has huge dicks.
When I said hs a life, I meant job, family obligations, etc. which the 'Dex has plenty of people that have those. Maybe Lilura literally couldn't get back to you until just then.
EDIT: Not saying I have a life, just that others might.:)

Hey guys, I was thinking about getting BG2 to encourage me to finish BG1 and was wondering something about the Steam version of EE. If I get the Steam version of EE, do I get the Original version akin to the way GOG does it?

No. If you want the original you have to go to GOG as far as I know.
