Ziba Pasha qizi Ganiyeva was an Azerbaijani philologist and a former World War II female sniper (Northwestern Front, 3rd Moscow Communist Rifle Division), accounted for 21 kills and awarded with the Medal For the Defence of Moscow, Combat Order of the Red Banner and the Order of the Red Star.

Ziba Ganiyeva is Azerbaijani by her father and Uzbek by her mother. In 1937, she was admitted to dance courses at the newly established Uzbek Philharmonia. In 1940, she moved to Moscow to enter the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts, but voluntarily enlisted in the army on 7 November 1941, shortly after the opening of the Eastern Front of World War II. She was accompanied by another sniper, Nina Solovey.

During the war, Ganiyeva was a radio operator and a spy who crossed the front line 16 times. She participated in the Battle of Moscow. Ziba's military service was discontinued after she was heavily wounded during the reconnaissance operation in Moscow suburbs in 1942. She was carried off the battlefield and subsequently spent 11 months in hospital.

After the war she continued her postsecondary education and, in 1965, received a Candidate of Sciences degree in philology.

Biracial/Ethnic Asian Female of Muslim Decent who went from ballerina/actress to deadly soviet sniper.

SocJus Developers are incapable of anything except Low Effort Garbage even when HISTORICAL REALITY presents tailor-made opportunities on a silver platter...

tbh most of the female sniper thing was tailor made for the sake of propaganda in the SU
Nah it is a Slav thing, all that equality and feminism are western things. We do know that both man and women are equal by default, simply we do know our differences and places. Quite a few times both men and women have taken arms against the enemy.

EA was beginning to lose it's status as the absolute worst and most hated gaming publishers in the industry, so they had to come out with a way to put themselves back to villain stardom.

Why would you even say that EA was beginning to lose that status.

Amusing video rips apart EA and Dice bullshit.
For anyone interested the city he couldn't remember the name of is Leningrad.

What gives me an aneurysm about Balfeels V is actually the fact that the wimminz they depict aren't even the historical women of World War 2.

Women were actually legitimately a huge part of the Soviet war effort, digging trenches and battlefield fortifications at Kursk, and women served as Soviet snipers. A few of them were really successful as countersnipers, racking up dozens of confirmed total kills and even killing German snipers.

By contrast, they want to have a generic fantasy character who is a wimmin in their generic fantasy depiction of World War 2 "secret missions" or whatever, and depict their womens as operators similar to modern spec ops. That's the shit that drives me crazy. Rather than focusing on real historical war stories, they want to peddle their fantasy bullshit while saying "LOL! Women were in World War 2, you sexist!!! You're peddling anti-historical bullshit and our game is realz since it has wimminz in combat roles just like real lyfe!"

Ugh. Makes me fucking sick. Meanwhile, real history:

Who would have thought that telling people to not buy the game if they don't like the over-the-top aspects, when you claimed to be making an authentic game, would have been so effective?

Surprised that they managed to unfuck their marketing and instead focus on the gameplay rather than homosexual and YAS WE RULE THIS SHIT QWEENS propaganda.

Yeah that's what I think too. It may not sell as well as the last one, but will do good enough to keep DICE alive.

Still i do leave small place in my hearth that wants to be surprised and the game to become an epic flop. Against all odds and all that jazz.

Still a shit game that will flop hard, though.
I doubt it,BF will sell well,a lot of dudebro casuals out there.
If they think the same "dudebro casuals" that usually play stuff like Call of Duty/FIFA/Madden/Battlefield and would walk into a store and pick this up cause it looks appealing:

Are going to do the same with this:

they've got another surprise in store for them. Especially since it's coming out at the same time as Red Dead Redemption 2 and Call of Duty: BLOPS 4.

Activision for instance pays a bit of lip service on the side, but they'd never let it screw with their marketing:

What kind of weak soldier needs an exoskeleton suit to handle an assault rifle? Is the soldier of the future a pussy stuck in a Wrestler body?

Also lol at this whole Battlefart V drama. It's just more anti-intellectualism (ergo, historical falsification) that is gripping the decadent West. No piece of art or cultural aspect remains unscathed.

You didn't keep attention to that trend? The average soldier doesn't jump extremely high or does Titanfall-style wallruning.

BATTLEFIELD V PRE-ORDERS ARE REPORTEDLY VERY “WEAK”, ACCORDING TO ANALYSTS
Posted on August 15, 2018, 6:35 pm By Ethan

(Last Updated On: August 15, 2018)
After Patrick Söderlund departed from EA DICE, reports have surfaced stating that Battlefield V pre-orders are at a low. This should come in as no surprise given that many BFV developers on Twitter and forums told people not to buy the title after the game’s reveal fiasco, followed by Söderlund’s response to critics and fans displeasure.

According to a tweet that journalist Sarah Needleman, from the Wall Street Journal, published on August 14th, 2018, it is said that after EA DICE executive, Patrick Soderlund, departed from the company, news of low pre-orders bubbled up.

The report claims that Battlefield V‘s pre-order game is “weak,” revealing worldwide uninterest in the forthcoming title. If you’re unable to read the tweet, it states…

“Electronic Arts’ chief design officer is leaving just two months before the launch of a new installment of one of its biggest franchises, Battlefield. Patrick Soderlund had been with EA for nearly 20 years and worked out of its Dice Studio in Stockholm that makes the war-themed videogame series. Earlier this month, Cowen said pre-order sales of “Battlefield V” have been weak. It is due for release in between Activision Blizzard’s next Call of Duty game and Take-Two Interactive Software’s Red Dead Redemption sequel, both of which Cowen says are showing greater pre-order demand. Cowen says Battlefield could suffer the same fate as EA’s “Titanfall 2,” which was released in between two major game launches in 2016 and sold poorly.”

Of course, though, a lot of this can be contributed to bad marketing, developer engagement with the community, and the expectations riding from Battlefield 1 and its successful marketing campaign to the alternate politically correctdepiction of the Second World War game that is Battlefield V.

Furthermore, Electronic Arts CEO, Andrew Wilson, addressed the departure of chief design officer Patrick Söderlund just before the events of low BFV pre-orders by stating that:

“Team,

Today we are announcing that Patrick Söderlund has made the decision to move on from EA. After nearly two decades as a pioneer for our company and industry, he will begin a new chapter later this year.

Patrick has been a trusted business partner and a great friend, and his inspiring leadership has had an outstanding impact on EA. As an integral part of the management team for many years – including as head of Worldwide Studios and, most recently, Chief Design Officer – he’s been an agent of change and transformation. From his early vision for Frostbite, which has now become a cornerstone for our technology strategy, to being a champion for Players First experiences, Patrick has always ensured we put creative at the center of everything we do. He has also been unwavering in his commitment to building our pipeline of amazing new games to come, and his fingerprints will be on the experiences that we bring to players well into the future.”

As for Battlefield V, expect its mid-life cycle to play out like the disaster that is Star Wars Battlefront 2 or Battlefield 1, the latter of which saw a steep decline in players before all of the discounts and special half-price editions hit the scene thanks to DrSquirrelBoy12 and Davidstachon:

Lastly, with the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 set to debut the same month, with reports stating strong pre-orders, expect Battlefield V to face a similar fate that TitanFall 2 endured when Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfarereleased.

Battlefield V is currently set to debut on October 19th, 2018, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
