So when did battlefield have regen health? Keep in mind I haven't played this series since battlefield 2, I'm asking this because I noticed the regen in some players viewpoints.

From BF 3 I think. But only on Normal Match, not in Hardcore.

So it's BF4 with a new skin. Everyone is still running around at random and shooting with automatics.

It's a 64 player multiplayer game what did you expect. A hardcore, competitive tactical multiplayer shooter like Rainbow Six: Siege, CS:GO or Insurgency?

New game mod maybe - more like a static front line. And some bolt action rifles...

Call me a hopeless romantic but I was hoping more of a Red Orchestra loadout, you know those who are late joining in get bolt rifles.

Gameplay footage looks like typical battlefield. A shooter where you can't tell if anyone is actually contributing to anything.

Watching right now.

I am hyped...

BF4 after 6 months of fixing was actually a pretty fucking good game. Among my favourite shooters.
They seen to have improved the gunplay, sound, destruction. Since the maps are based on actual locations maybe the maps will better designed.

And you can pilot a FUCKING AIRSHIP!!!!!!

On the one hand, I'm kinda averse to glorifying WWI as something 'fun', since as a New Zealander I've been beaten over the head with how awful and wasteful the first world war, and the Gallipoli campaign in particular, was.

On the other hand, I play shit like the total war games constantly, in which things like genocide, mass-killings, sacking, looting, etc are basically reduced to numbers on a screen, so I'm probably in no real position to take any moral grandstanding on this.
I don't really mind if a game glorifies a conflict as fun or not, it's the marketing campaign that deserves to be criticized for that - bombarding us with epic explosions and True American Hero(tm) stuff, that's what usually gets me.
