Avernum 4, Windows 7 64b woes

Anyone else having problems with this game on Windows 7 64-bit/DirectX 11?

When certain menus open the game slows to a crawl. Selling items to shopkeepers is a major pain.

Avernum 5 was relatively smooth on the same system.

Send Jeff an e-mail about it or look around the spiderweb tech support subforum.

Don't play Av4 anyway, everyone will tell you that. It gets a chore after the demo area, especially the goddamn chitrachs - fourth part is easily the lowest point of the whole series.

Ironically, it is still a better RPG than all of the newshit.
