In Hellenic financial news, Myra Shipping Corporation continues to excel, securing lucrative contracts to deliver goods and colonists to the rapidly growing metropolis on Luna. Currently valued at 19.86 a share, newcomer Nymphaion shipping has its work cut out for it if it hopes to compete at a share price of 2.54. Myra has invested in an extensive fleet of 17 starships, while Nymphaion has recently produced its first two. Given the rapid ascent of Myra, this may be the time to buy Nymphaion while their stock price is relatively low.

Luellen Shipping Lines of the NOUS has been more of an investment bank than a shipping company for over seven years now. Founded by the state with a generous outlay of capital, with no demand for their services they have yet to construct a single starship, and have opted instead to invest their starting capital and bide their time. Their share price currently sits at 7.00.

Pokrovsky Freight Line has a fleet of five vessels which have secured contracts for transport of infastructure to Mercury. Their current share price is 5.30.

The SFM state-owned Abrahamsson Freight and Trading has two starships, the lowest total tonnage of any active shipping company, and is trading at a share price of 5.01. Centralized planning simply can't keep up in this rapidly changing new market space.

As some of you already know, one of our precious space ships is commanded by Commodore Carl Axelsson, a man, and this has become a cause of worry. Could he, in a moment of masculine emotion caused by the oh-so-common male insecurity, cause his ship to crash? It is a well-known fact that men are horrible drivers and a wife who sensible guards the wellbeing of her husband never allows them behind the wheel. Others have questioned whether the Matriarchy appointed Axelsson merely to fulfill some arbitrary gender quota and that he thus replaced a better qualified woman. Troubling indeed!

To assuage these ruffled feathers, I reached out to have a friendly chat with both Commodore Carl Axelsson and Commodore Stina Svensson. In addition, I had a lovely chat with Captain Alma Larsson from the Fleet Headquarters Communication Office and let me assure you, these fears are completely unfounded!

Commodore Axelsson is actually undergoing gender improvement transformation as Carl told me honestly that he felt that his masculinity was holding him back and causing him no end of troubles. Commodore Svensson similarly testified that Carl has "the mind of a woman, trapped inside the body of a man", to which I could only sagely nod. How cruel, a trick of nature! Luckily, the State in its wisdom has conquered Nature, and hormonal therapy has already allowed Carl to shed many manly trappings. As I speak, Carl is undergoing surgery to finalize these changes.

Athena Rosso: Humanity remains in awe of the great Heraclitus' announcement from an hour ago. The Exploration Vessel Odysseus, first of its class, has successfully spooled up its FTL drive and made a jump to a solar system many lightyears away. A historic moment for all of Mankind as Hellas once again leads humanity to bold new frontiers. Already new ships and new kinds of FTL drive designs are being developed, ones which will usher in a new era of colonization, industry and commerce.

Athena Rosso: A technology derived from the jump drive, the jump gate, will aid expansion to the stars. Already the majestic Dracon class Gate Constructors are working tirelessly at connecting Sol to distant stars, enabling conventional ships to supply new worlds without the need for jump drives.

Athena Rosso: On the other side of the gate will be worlds like Aquaria, the first truly habitable world outside of Sol. This oceanic world has been the first of those discovered by the Odysseus. Orbiting the parent star of a binary star system, Aquaria is already mentioned as a site for the first Extrasolar colony. The decision has not yet been made to colonize it, pending further survey of the system's second star and its planets. Likewise other Odysseus class explorer vessels are searching for paths to new Star Systems and new worlds which may indeed be far more habitable and richer in resources than the cold harsh oceans of Aquaria.

Athena Rosso: Back on Gaia barbarians left in the wake of the collapse of the Intermarum Confederation are being successfully pushed away from Hellenic borders. While some leftist elements claim the supposed Poles, Ukrainians, Czechs and Belorussians at the border are entitled to refuge, state officials know that actually those are merely Turkish and Gypsy elements trying to sneak into the country and destroy it from the inside.
