We are working on this project for almost a year, and now we need your help. Vote for the game (we really need it), add it to your favorites to be updated and spread the word among your friends, of course!

Greenlight page is located here http://bit.ly/2pfMo5k

Thank you, that is pretty awesome.

so what's the difference between this game and The Banner Saga

Well, in short - it's a differnet game, so it's a different setting, characters, themes, roleplaying system, combat system.

But if to compare it speficifally to the Banner Saga:

1. Different world, story and characters. Banner Saga is based on the Norse mythology with giants and Ragnarok. Our game's IP is an original one created by a professional published fantasy author, and it's a classic low-magic high-fantasy.
2. The combat system is different - we try to both make something unique in the ruleset (we've dropped hit/miss chances and rolls, you can attack both into HP and MP, etc.) and add collectible card game elements to it (so the player will be collecting cards, building decks and hands, and using them during combat).
3. We want to integrate multiplayer into the core game as a PVP arena and later on adding PVE elements.

You don't play Vikings

Yes, there is that, no vikings.

Looks great! The page shows a 2017 release - I assume it'll be around the end of the year?

Thank you and yes, we plan a kickstarter campaign at the end of the May (we lack the funds to finish the 2nd storyline, record all the music and animations, etc.) and the PC/Mac/Linux release is planned on November 2017.

Thank you.

Looks cool, even if the aesthetic is a total rip of Banner Saga. I liked Banner Saga. And you can't copyright style.

Well, Banner Saga's visual style is somewhat unique, but in their interviews they give a range of inspirations: some major takes out of Eyvind Earle's work and other sources. We did similar research and collecting sources: from animation (such as Disney and Soyuzmultfilm) to japanese visual novels. We ended up with a similar 2D drawn style, but if you put it side by side - you can see the differences in lines, colors, level of detailng, backgrounds, etc.
