And by new I mean 3, 4 and 5. The last Tropico I played was the second one. Do the 3D ones add anything worthwhile, or should I just stick o the first game?

4 is really great and pretty funny, 5 was good as well, not as good as 4 but pretty good never the less.

I haven't played any of the previous ones so I am not sure how they compare tho.

3 and 4 are good. I personally liked 3 more, probably because 4 is the same with few cosmetic changes that did not do it for me.

One weakness is the late game gets more and more about rebels. The other is that most of the islands are retarded and I kept replaying the same one island that kind of looked like real islands and not like a Fisher price toy.
