    Thats awesome.

Gah, according to discogs this is the only track by Box Mouse? and it is not a pseudonym :(

EDIT: Scuba has some great sets here that have a lot of ambient dubstep. I especially like this one.

The worst part of liking IDM is the live shows undoubtedly being Hip Hop Congoid sets. mixes and other some such nonsense.

IDM is dead anyway. Now it's just a bunch of farts called "glitches" and the target audience is the music-analogue of Macfags.

I had the day off work the other day and spent it bumming around the house on E listening to Tokimonsta's album. She's one of my favorites of the LA new beat crowd.

Interesting, thanks for the track. I know burial is supposed to be mainstream sellout dubstep or whathaveyou, but I still enjoy the man's work. And El-B is a blast from the past (remember "Neighborhood"?)

I've noticed that there are a billion dubstep remixes for just about any popular song these days, and they are almost universally horrid. So much shitty music in this genre, to go along with the great stuff.

Electronic music, if it's not video game music, is the work of Satan.

Kid should have released this instead of the vanilla song.

But seriously, there's a new genre on the up and up called Popstep and it ain't looking too sweet for the Dubstep business.

    Yep, shit shit shit.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnX-_yRnITk

All this crap with the vocal track cranked way too high, fucking awful.

The sad part is solid dubstep producers will probably be on board the gravy train.

Frankly I think he's best when he's sampling or collaborating e.g. with Four Tet or take this Brian Eno sample for instance, I can't stand his vocals and Garagey shit, never like Garage when it first came out and I hate him for trying to revitalise it.

There's a new Oval album out ("O") and it's quite lovely. Here's a video from it, featuring one of his more "traditional" songs. Dig the insectlike/birdlike choreography.

Was just listening to him in the car today, a set from an LA club called Science back in 1998. One of my favorite driving tapes.
