Any fix for Gothic 3 sudden fps drops?

I still don't understand why some people were AGAINST that. You want to spoil your replays by remembering the locations for the best loot? Or what?

No, you're right. It's way better to go out of my way and explore until I find a s secret place, kill 5 Jaguars and than go back to town with my newly found "wooden sword of sucks balls" because that's the item that was next in the progression list.

Are you serious bro ? Level scaled loot that by the time you get it, is shittier than the sword you had 3 levels ago ?

Maybe if you completely cut out the first 40 items on each progression list it wouldn't suck so much but even then it sucks. Combing the map to collect 50 pokemons so I can finally get the 51st pokemon that's barely better than the pokemon I bought in town so I can use it for a glorious 3 more hours of gameplay. Do you remember the hassle needed to craft the last sword ?Find all the dragon-balls (chests) to get the recipe and then the fuck-arounds in nordmar for the super-duper dragon-cum ore ? And for what? 30 something more damage?

I hated that shit with a white hot passion. I'd beat you half to death with a black man's penis just for suggesting that shit was a good idea.

It's no different from having to find all the dragon roots in Gothic 2 if you wanted to do max damage. It's nothing to do with level scaling, it just means you have to explore pretty much the whole map if you want to max up your character. The whole point is it rewards exploration. That's all.

You may be right that it doesn't reward you enough, but then it's not supposed to be something you feel compelled to do every time you play through the game. It's just supposed to be an easter egg, basically (on an epic scale, but still).

In that case, I'd suggest an institution for criminally insane people, preferably before you dig up my address and acquire the penis.

Quited at lvl 25. Cant recommend it to anyone, it's simply not good. I had more fun playing free games like Tome4 or DoomRL.

I like G3 myself, but it's completely understandable if it doesn't click for somebody. The combat system is just the worst. It really makes me wonder how they came up with it. It feels like everyone is made of balloons, and like you have no control.
