Making YouTube videos/streaming = hard work? I hope this guy has a real job he can go back to or saved/invested 75% of the money he made from his 'glory days.'
Making YouTube videos is hard work. Unless it's streaming in real time (which requires very specific talents) or extremely amateur stuff, they are usually "fake" amateur videos. Like you have Lindybeige. Dude looks like it's just ordinary lone dude with a webcam ranting about stuff, right?
Wrong.
Mining in real mine for 10 hours a day is a hard work, sitting on your ass and editing videos for 4 hours a day is not.

I think you mean physical. Doing mental work to a high level of polish is exhausting.

Yeah mental work is very exhausting, but editing(youtube not real 8hour work) is not much of a mental work.

It kinda is because you are editing footage and things can happen with audio, recording ... one of the guys I watch uploaded a video without commentary because his mic turned off before recording.
Hell there a "shitposting LP" were he just leaves about 20 minutes of what is the pause menu I think, this is part when LetsPlay kinda dropped out in favor of streaming because streaming doesnt require as much work as no editing is needed, dont compare Streaming that making sure the Stream is working and the audio is fine and then pressing the broadcast button with making something like that Mister Metokur video since there is a lot of editing going on and the quality threshold is higher.

Doesnt change the fact people with a Patreon are making 7k per month and could do at least a review per week, Angry Joe should know what videos people preferred, he should know that people that watched him was because of hiw review videos and werent interested what was likely a hour long "couch conversation" likely unedited video were he just made a test to make sure the camera was working, one requires some effort to be put in and the other ... I could pretty much do it if I had a camera and free time.

Most YTbers are fighting ferociously for that second digit!

I'll be happy when Angry Joe finally quits. Risen 1 3/10 & Risen 2 4/10, but Skyrim 10/10? And Dragon Age 2 7/10? The fatfaced loudmouth faggot talks utter fucking shit 90% of the time.

Not only that, he's the very embodiment of the PR machine which is ruining our games industry, as shallow dross like Skyrim is hailed as "legendary" and Risen viewed as "poor". He just follows the trend, has absolutely NO fucking idea what makes a good game, and to call him a "reviewer" is a massive upgrade on his actual standing. Hell I'm not sure I'd even call him a gamer.

A brainwashed, trend following sheep with no actual clue about games at all, the sooner his diseased kind fucks off out of gaming the better.
I rate this post "Edgy"...

Does not compute.
Seriously, I've done YT videos. A friend of mine has a pretty successful channel. Once you got your video templates set up it's not that hard to shit out a few 30 minute videos a day.

I dunno....videos which need little to no editing can be produced in 30 minute, but I think Joe's videos with all those special effects, costumes, scripting, greenscreen and lots of editing are a bit more complicated than that.

His costumes and skits are shit though so if he needs more time he can easily drop those.
The fact remains that Youtube does not require nearly as much work as an actual job, evidenced by the fact that people WITH real jobs can create the same quality content that people leeching off their fans make.

Through my friend and his channel I also know the statistics that Youtube shows content creators and how you're supposed to optimize your videos, which largely translates to dumbing them down because the average viewer doesn't watch long, in depth analyses anyway.

Much like a cotton farmer in the 1800s, Youtubers should never forget who is the master and who is the subordinate.
You might think making decent semi-intelligent videos will attract decent semi-intelligent fans. That is not the case.
Remember that episode of South Park where they mocked Let's Plays? With Ike and his baby friends sitting there, watching Pewdiepie? That's how it actually is now. That's your audience.

According to many people, unless you work in a joyless environment from 9 to 5, it's not a real job. Corporations in the entertainment industry thrive on that public mentality because it allows them to abuse the ever loving shit out the entertainer and no one will care. Voiceacting, writing, comics, art, pro-wrestling, porn, etc. Those who've had their work outright stolen are told they should be happy for the exposure. Meanwhile employees are downgraded to 'freelancers' or 'independent contractors' to skirt laws on wages and other benefits. Fortunately for AJ he's a Youtuber, essentially his own boss (which makes him extra hated).

First a reviewer has to finish the game. That's just the first stage. Unless the game happens to be an hour long, we've already gone beyond a day.

Well, alt righters tried to co-opt his channel simply because he was criticizing certain trans creator. That also helped the narrative that said trans person was victim of harassment, taking away from actual story and obscuring said character's countless wrongdoings. So, he did the right thing...

Its not the first time he said that, I would guess is because of the Alex Mauer videos because that happened after then.

I suspect its because moment people realized Alex Mauer was a tranny, they gone after that fact and of course being 2017 people got OFFENDED by it and have attempted to make him censor the comments section, its the 2bd time he goes about the comment section, if he wants to do it then just do it, dont go around trying to spin he is going to start to "moderate the comments because of the Trolls" because thats horsehit, if he is doing it because in the Alex Mauer videos people go over the tranny thing and he doesnt want to see it.

I dont know ... I mean I watch(ed?) him because of the Steam assent flippers and other stuff, not Alex Mauer or AngryJoe, in fact I dont get why he made a video about Angry Joe because its just YT drama, its not as if people that watch him are paying him as far I know of, I would say its clicker bait even since apparently everyone decided they had to chine in about Angry Joe meltdown.

I think its also this ... there are people that stop because its not their job and it stop being something they either wanted to do or being able to do but now we have people that are "YouTubbers", people where their main source of income is a check from Google as ad revenue from YT videos but they forget that, they forget its *a job* and its not meant to be something they have to be happy about doing it, in Angry Joe case I think its been a case of slow but steady burn where he no longer enjoys gaming so the thing people enjoy watching is something he doesnt like to do anymore, problem with that is ...that is what he does for a living for the last 9 years and he cannot quit so we get a passive-aggressiveness were you have "YouTubbers" that are making videos they dont want to do and blame people for watching them, its "I hate my job".

Also its kinda funny people picked on Angry Joe for disabling comments and rating when the "painfully dying english cunt" does the same in a far more hilarious inane way, you see ... at least Joe just flipped the switch and disabled them ... what TB did was set comments to be approved so since he never approves comments, they never appear making Joe the least hypocrite of the 2 in that regard.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
It's his fucking youtube channel and he can do whatever shit he wants. Not his fault thousands of nerds follow him like he's some kind of an important person for the world.
I find the content of his channel shit especially recently with all the movie reviews (like we care what he says about a movie for some reason) but all this fuss is simply funny. Just don't watch him if you don't like what he does.

Yeah the cunts puts the C in CUNT.It is sad that he doesn't get enough shit from people about being hypocritical cowardly cuck.It was sarcastically sad when he begun calling the guy with the question a coward on twitter(aka save space). Why didn't he just go to the guys face and told him about his opinion like a man?
But youtube career is just like the political and journalistic careers.People that can't become anything else take that path.It is sad that the world have such huge amounts of millennial (i ma millennial too) trash.

Only absolute waste of human life would dedicated 20 minute video to this situation trying to explain how morally corrupt angry joe is because he wants to take a break from producing a certain type of content on his channel. How autistic you need to be to get butthurt about that or try to explain to other people how import that issue is?
