Could you post a world map screenshot or something? It'd be interesting if the guys joining gave Burgundy something to do so France or England sound good imo.

Is Naples still in a union with Aragon in the current save game?

Well one look at th map shows that NO because there is no feasible way to expand as a nation in union. But I checked anyway and they are not in union. Good expansion for AI too.

:smug:

Paradox WAD: Feeding your vassals to circumvent pesky OE malus.

Yes but that requires human Aragon AI wont do this.

It's clear. I was just taking an underhanded jab at what Pdox considers working as intended.

If argon get's into a conflict with proto-spain then it is easy enough for the union to break as part of the war bounty. IF there is union i might try my hand with Brandenburg or maybe Castile

Good fun (except for that horrible civil war event, I don't think I'd survived without help. Thanks help!

Seems like it was a good idea to have me host the game.

By god are units and MP a limited resource now, slightest border skirmish drives your mp to zero. It's even more extreme than i previously imagined. Maybe a little too much? In the early game mercs are absolutely vital. Also culture switching of provinces is far far too easy, even danzig was like 300 dip power which is ok when you consider that a land based country doesn't need that much of it. Id add a flat 50 base cost and increase time to do it fivefold. Or even better, remove the mechanic alltogether and instead use events and paying to accept cultures to make it easier to hold on to say Prussian culture provinces as Poland.

Game needs more balance of terror, or some players will just keep expanding unhindered, including me of course :D

Speaking of terror, this makes me wonder how a ck2 mp game would play?

So i picked Naples as my starter nation and the AI had done a number on it. High inflation, several loans, badly placed Merchants and a whole host of different problems that manifested them self in the form rebels, more rebels and my -82 prestige mixed with low low legitimacy became more and more of a problem. IF that was not bad enough Austria and friends picked me of all the targets to attack in a larger war. My 6 man stack was stuck fighting a 22 man Austria/Brandenburg mob and well it did not go well.

If that was the end of my problems then all would be fine. I expanded outward and took Rome and Ramaro or what ever that place full of Urbino jerks is called. A revolt happened while i was trying to reform my army from it's destruction at the hand of Austria and Brandenburg 2200 Urbino Nationalist in the north and 1400 Heretics in the south. It was more then my peasants with pitchforks could handle and even with the help of England there was not enough time and i lost Roma, Ancona and Urbinojerk town to Urbino Nationalists and they became free.... for a bit because never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line.

I bid my time and when it was right i took my dam land back that i stole from the pope. When the feeble non Sicilians tried to stop me i crushed there army's and forced them to serve me and my great nation. They will soon be "convinced" to join.... All in due time.

In the end i am now stronger then before. Not a lot of land was gained, but i am not longer saddled with debt and crumbling prestige that pulls every thing down. I am gaining strength.
