Even up to this year I've still seen Age of Empires II + Conquers/Age of Mythology going for 40 bucks at mainstream games stores (seem to be the only pre-2006 games kept on the shelves).

Interesting that it says "Players: 1", have they shut down the multi player server? I remember having a great time playing this game online a few years ago, as well as with the first expansion, though I quit before the second was released since it seemed to contain to much retarded shit i.e magical ninjas and what not.

As for the cost I also see it labeled as 0.1 USD from Sweden, almost worth a purchase to play some online again, though it may not be worth it since I remember installing the game again last year to replay the campaign and to try some multi player once more. Though there were literally no players of my skill playing, only low rated people, i.e 25 and lower.

From Norway too, but when I try to make an account to buy I get "XBox Live is not supported for this region"

Edit: Aaaah. Now I get it. Xbox live costs money to have, so you have to fork over money for the privilege of buying AOE3. Clever Microsoft, clever.

Try buying through the Games for Windows client. It should work that way.

Well that would seem a bit odd, trying to sell a PC game to console types, but who knows. I'll have a look at it in any case. For the price of 10 cents I might buy myself a copy since it's cheaper than buying the expansion by it self and if I do I will probably check to buy a few copies for friends and family.

Wtf?
Bought.

One of the very few RTS titles I still love to play. Though walls do suck (won't stop bullets...), but that is my only complaint.

To function properly, DRM downloads certain data and files to your computer, which may or may not be uninstalled when you uninstall the software.
