A while back I gave the name of the attorney in charge of the IP to one of the Amazon digital sales guys. He eventually got in contact with them and they were on the verge of getting steam keys for sale on Amazon. Fast forward a bit, he didn't hear back then all of a sudden Steam had lowered the base price to $30 and was offering it at 50% off -- the first time Amalur had been on sale on Steam since 38 went bankrupt. What probably happened was GabeN said 'fuck those losers' and was reluctant to hand out steam keys to a third party. Now, depending on how close they are to actually holding an IP auction (and they've been dragging their feet forever), you might not see a sale on it until a new owner is found.

As the game was never localized here, I bought the English version for around $15 (probably less, depends on the conversion rate between PLN and $$$) from a local retailer last summer. You can still find it (HERE or HERE for example), and many Polish retailers ship outside the country.

Ha surely you jest! Germanic languages are but the grunting of an ape. Don't let recent history hide from you the reality that Germans have been on the receiving end of a beating from their neighbors, Poles included, for far longer a time than the other way round. German superiority now is ironically based on having being beaten like dogs so often that they focused on what they are best at: making money. At best the German is the 'jew' of the White race. Remember the Hanse and the rich Germanic city states? Only in economic development is the German superior.
