Ah, I have a controversial one...

Black Sabbath - Heaven and Hell

Dio put Black Sabbath over the top in my mind. Great songwriting with a voice that made angels weep...

There should be nothing controversial about Heaven and Hell. It's as classic as it gets.

Funny, I just listened to it this morning. It would be perfect without Lady Evil, never liked that song.

There is that divide between Black Sabbath "purists" and lovers of Dio-era Black Sabbath. I never liked Ozzy's voice, and evidently that's sacrilege in some people's minds.

Yes, I have. Alcest is simply amazing, one of my favorite bands.
Glad there are more people here who like it.

That album is amazing, their best in my opinion.

I also like Alcest. Écailles De Lune is fantastic.
The cover reminds me of another all-time favorite (and 10/10) album of mine.

Very different from Lumsk's other stuff. The ultimate scandinavian folk/prog/rock/vispop album.

    Where did you get it?
I though there was only a CD and standard black vinyl version.

I can think of only one popular music album (as opposed to classical music) with every track worth listening to more than once: Hatebreeder.

    Its best song: Downfall.

There's another album I might mention. It has three great tracks and some OK ones. Most albums have only one great track if that, so it might count as a 10/10, especially since its best stuff is better than 90% of the above album.

    Individual Thought Patterns by Death.

Can't help but give all of these 10/10. I just can't personally find anything wrong about them.
There are several more I personally find to be perfect albums, but these are the ones I first thought of.

I'll stick with one per band... and skipping over dozens of albums because otherwise this post would be ludicrously long.

I don't think I'll ever get the appeal that most (not all) black metal bands have, just like I reggae, but awell.

    The XX - XX

By far, the most soothing band I've ever listened to, it beats most similar artists without a chance; it touches all the right buttons for me. Do yourself a favor and listen to it.
    sample:

Aphex Twin- Selected ambiental works II

Fucking brilliant ambient, plus a bit of IDM here and there. This is where Falllout 2 got a lot of inspiration for its ost, so it's worth checking out for this fact alone.
    sample:

Have a nice life - Deathconsciousness

This is what happens when you just want to play music, disregarding any commercial success whatsoever. An amazing album.
    sample:

Also, can someone help me with a working link for The Angelic Process' album? It seems to suffer the same fate as Have a Nice Life :(

Equus - "Eutheria". 11/10 in my opinion. Highly recommended for the fans of a progressive rock.

Cult of Luna - "Somewhere along the highway". 10.5/10.

    Ion Dissonance - "Solace".
