Interesting party you have there. Is that the PSP version with emulation? The game had multiple re-relases IIRC. Is it very grindy?

so today I've started my 3rd playthrough of Wizardry 8, which is a top 5 greatest game of all times.
this time with a completely pre-generated party. wasn't in the mood for character creation and wanted to jump right in.

my god do I love the visuals of Wiz8. the graphics have aged so gracefully and this game is just so pleasant to look at.

It's a PS Vita/PS4 game, both are available in English. There's also a sort of "side-sequel" called "Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory" released for the aforementioned systems. The PSP one is "Digimon ReDigitize" which is more of a pet raising simulator than RPG. Anyway, hopefully the Vita3k emulator will improve enough to run the game in a playable state.

Yeah, it is grindy although there are ways to trivialize it by equipping Platinum Sukamons and Platinum Numemons with Tactician USBs, then it's just a matter of fulfilling the evolution requirements. You can later de-evolve your monsters and evolve them to something else, pretty fun. Reminded me of Digimon World 3.

• Fix your damn aspect ratio.
• You're fighting in RT mode? WTF is wrong with you?

And yeah, good games are designed based on how they are supposed to look, not what is the latest GFX fad, so they age gracefully in that regard.

1. the aspect ratio looks fine to me, I don't see any sense in changing that.
2. no mods installed, game is completely vanilla. that means slow ass enemy animations. I can manage combat just fine like that, no need to go phased.

Once I decided to collect every skull I could find in Oblivion.

If you have such a strong skull fetish you should join the Imperium of Man. They put skulls on everything. Alternatively you should just buy a Nazi SS cap.
