The University ponder their options to dislodge their Spartan rivals. Years of defensive naval engagements has stopped the Spartans from invading but the threat needs to be permanently snuffed before it gets too strong.
An invasion of our own is unthinkable, the Spartans are well-trained and well-fortified. Their island lush with its jungle bioscape will be a deathtrap to any invading army.
Clearly another course of action must be taken. Provost Zhakarov sends a short message to the UN peacekeepers.
'Brother Lal, I need your vote in the upcoming UN Council. Things are very untenable. We must repeal the UN Charter to break this deadlock'
The monitor lights up in response. A counter-offer.

The council ends and a flurry of activity follows in all the University bases.

Ten years later, the Spartans once-prosperous stronghold is barely recognizable.
Colonies were massacred to the last man as dozens of missiles flew overhead unleashing deadly showers of gas.
The retreating Spartan land forces were under constant naval bombardment. Not a single ground engagement took place.
The Hive attempts to reinforce their ally, but the naval blockade was too strong, multiple transports were sunk before they could make landfall.
At last, Spartan Command HQ fell under continuous bombardment. What remains of the Spartan forces are now forced to make a last stand on the western tip of the island.
As the dust settled on the southern tip of the island, a University colony pod makes its drop accompanied by several jump-jet troopers.
The Provost steps out with a triumphant smile.
