Oh, btw Calvin, there's a difference between fit, healthy and strong (me), and morbidly obese (you). I guess this explains your pencil comment. To you, everyone is thin. If that old old pic of you with those chubby little stumpy legs and blubber gut and little gay bag thing is any indication of the now body, I REALLY am scared that you might fall on me! Bye, I have a nice run to do. You know, this is where you put one foot in front of the other, and keep doing it. :P lol cya fatty

I just pulled this little prick's punk card. He's in Melbourne. He should have no problem meeting me in Ringwood at the MMA gym. None at all. We're going to find out what this asshole is made of very shortly.

I want to release video of this with V2 to show the naked face of decline in action.

At 6'5 92kg this guy would look like a walking pencil, 202 pounds. One of my hands weighs 202 pounds.

What about a boomerang throwing contest instead ? Or better a millipede eating contest ? Or a "i swim faster than sharks" contest ?

I'm sure you're the only Australian autist bodybuilder, give the guy a break, no one cares about you being able to lift your fat ass from your chair.

So everybody should know, if this guy won't reveal his name to me and won't meet me here in Ringwood, I'm shutting this forum down as unproductive. Since Codex staff will not give me admin authority over this forum to ban troublemakers, I'm not going to bother administrating a forum that somebody can post thousands of messages to for no other reason than to disrupt it. A guy like this should not be allowed to post here and it would be reasonable to assume that I'd have admin permissions to ban him because he's not just a nattering girly-man posting hundreds of spam messages here, he's also ruining the forum for any purpose. He's a ridiculous abuser of his posting privileges and I should have been able to ban he and Zep Zepo a year ago for general spamming. I gave this guy a chance to fight in a public place and if he's not taking it, I don't have time to waste posting on the Codex any longer.

It makes more sense to go back to running my own forum than to waste any time here. I'm shutting down this forum and just going to admin Steam.

As I've said before, there's a reason we can't have nice things on this planet and it's mostly because of ultra winners like Zep Zepo and this swayback loser Biggus ruining it for everyone.

This will apparently cost RPGCodex a lot of traffic considering all the hits I have brought to them previously and would still be drawing that generate advertising revenues for them.

If you have legitimate questions I would direct them over to the Steam community pages.

Wouldn't it be ironic if Cleve beats somebody up thinking they're Biggus, only to find out they're not and then gets thrown in prison?

Of course we all know Cleve will be unable to stay aware from the codex, Just like the last time he left and swore he would never be back. Though I'm surprised he actually called that one reviewer a gay neckbeard tranny in response. Doesn't Steam frown on activity like that? He'll be lucky if people don't report him for his homophobic hate speach.

Cleve - Why not fire up Vault-Co again instead of just Steam?

Surely Larry and Melonheads have moved onto other targets now :shittydog:

These fantasies of Steam punishing Cleve seem to be a bit of a recurring theme - something you want to get off your chest?

There is a longstanding threat to ambulance personnel showing up in rough neighborhoods from rats, funnelweb spiders and Australians. The difference is that you can make an appeal to reason with rats and funnelweb spiders.

My 25 years in Australia have left me with a deep, abiding respect ... for the British.

Well do us all a favour and get the fuck out. You'll have to soon anyway, you won't fit for much longer, you fat clown.

Must be a real shit of a place, living here for a quarter of a century and all.

Did Cleve kick your ass or something?

Hey watch your fucking tone, you stupid nigger. Fanny packs are very functional and practical hip pouches for carrying essential items with you throughout your day.

After V2 comes out I will focus on the Steam-specific commands (screenshots and cheevos) and introduce custom portraits, before I put Grimoire on other platforms like GOG or Itch.io. Pirates will want to make sure they have the latest version to steal so should wait for these upgrades. Or if people have already bought it/buy it on sale, they will get these update patches automatically.

Steam:
any chance for Linux binary?

At present, people have had 100% success on Wine, so it is unlikely there is a need to port to Linux. I believe some people also play it on Macs with the emulator, so I have not made that a priority either. If Grimoire is ported it will likely be to IOS for tablets.

Everyone always knew the game would come down in price, like every other game, though Cleve just had to come out and make grandiose promises of how the game was for aristocrats not peasants and he'd sooner leave Steam than discount it in the future :shittydog:

There are four title screens now in the new version, you can set any one of them from the configuration menu.

I'm not going to say never - but with V2, the loose ends of the game at some points will be closed and you will discover the things I cut out to make the launch - the Rhattu Casino and several new dungeons with unusual features. Working on these now. Since this version will have the full integration of the inventory workshop with the classes and crafting skills, it will be pretty feature complete.

Steam:
Will saves be transferable to V2?

GOLDEN ERA GAMES [developer] 3 hours ago

I have taken pains to see to it no savegames are broken when importing into V2. It should be seamless. The way the portals to the content appear should not block or trap a player who is standing at that particular cell. In most cases, a ladder or stairwell suddenly appears where none existed before.

I think Cleve would lose. Yes he is a rather wide guy and but he's old and flabby now. How much endurance would he have? I ride bikes with a guy that's 6'6" and 200 pounds and he is far from weak. I'm a fast guy on a bike myself but my friend is faster even at 50 pounds heavier. All a person would have to do is dodge any swings for a few minutes and Cleve would be totally spent. I just can't see him having any endurance at all.

The second release of Grimoire at the one year anniversary of the game's release is progressing well! Brand new inventory workshop (see and sort all items, now apply all special crafts for classes) is done and extremely helpful during gameplay, almost changes the whole experience! In addition to new regions, new NPCs, new story lines, new enhancements to gameplay and two new title screens!

Many players have complained about the high initial price of Grimoire compared to other roleplaying games on Steam. We are considering a major price discount at the release of V2 and you can help decide what it will be!

Before we release V2, we will set the sale price according to the wishlist volume on Steam according to the figures below!

Permanent & Sale price reductions at launch of V2 :

10K Wishlist = $29.95, Sale Price $24.95
25K Wishlist = $24.95, Sale Price $19.95
50K Wishlist = $19.95, Sale Price $9.95
100K Wishlist = $9.95, Permanent & Sale Price

If you want lower the price permanently on the Steam store both for V2 and any future updates, you can help by getting your friends to wishlist the game and encouraging other Steam users to wishlist it. This is a chance to make the game affordable permanently for diehard fans of turn-based old skool roleplaying games!

Keep watching this page for further updates on our progress on V2, it is going to be even more awesome than the first release of Grimoire - if that can be imagined !!!

Currently the wishlist count is at 36,224 which means the game will cost 19.95$ max...

GOLDEN ERA GAMES [developer] 25 Aug @ 5:38am

This is an update for the game to address any of the incomplete parts of Grimoire, including the manual. The updated game will be available to all previous owners as a simple patch like updates are applied now.

After seeing the new professional marketing campaign, I believe golden babies can fly the wish-list goals are feasible:

The time for the last minute McDonald's visit is coming up again. Mid-September, right?
