You're obviously just bias. PoE did not have a shit graphics. Stop making shit up.
I was being hyperbolic mate. And yes I am biased, biased against 3D games. I'll take these,

Over these,

Any day. I like 2D graphics better than 3D, sorry. Despite that, I agree and said in my original post that PoE is much better looking than FO.

^. Perhaps part of my preference for 2D over 3D is because I'e seen so many 2D games with amazing direction, art design, and settings, while I've yet to see a 3D Isometric RPG that has any of those things.

Amiga Lemmings had a p nice range of colours across levels (although a fairly restricted palette per level):

The colours in the Ultima games became much more than just palettes to look at, though they were pretty fucking good at that, with the potions, virtues and such all feeding into the game systems.

Oh and you're all racist bastards.

The reason most "good" examples are old is that they are from a limited colour area. When you know that you will only have 256 colours, you have to think in advance about what you want to achieve with the colours that you are going to define. And while you are designing the palette, you can make sure that the colours are fitting together nicely.
Nowadays, you just design everything from scratch, you don't think about the colour of an object that was designed months prior, probably by someone else, or even bought from the Unity store.

why did you make those pics so small? When checking source its properly large

I didn't. They were actually big when I posted them. They are from one fallout wikia, and the url was the one from "expand to full image" or something.

To prove his point? If he use a properly large image it can be zoom in and people will notice the variety of color in each small piece of the picture. As the properly large image of the casino (1st) show.

That image, as the sentence that precedes it explains, was about lightning, not color. It has color and it's not a rundown place, but it's still ugly because of the lightning.

The resizing happens whenever you embed pictures from Wikia.com. Some form of anti-hotlinking I suppose.

You could always upload them to Imgur to get around it.
