Dunno wtf is oldspend
Oldspent is the amount of money you spent before 17th April 2015, the day when Valve started enforcing features limitations unless you spent at least $5 in the store or market.
I was still a pirate until 2016 so...

Heck, I didn't realize I'd been so cheap actually.
Ok I also bought something outside of steam (Starcraft, stuff from GoG), but still.
I spent more on Magic Online in like a year before deciding it was too stupid and stopped.

Anyway, buying on sales is the key factor here. The only game I bought at full price was XCOM, because I read about Long War and wanted to try it right then.

Don't spend it all at once Gabe!

The vast majority of my digital purchases are on GOG, whereas I think I've bought a grand total of 3 or 4 games directly from steam. My steam account mainly consists of bundle fodder and a number of purchases through Gamersgate and Fanatical (BundleStars).

I expected worse, but I'm still disappointed.

What would be really interesting would be a statistic for the games I bought compared to the games I bought and actually got around playing. Because the number in itself doesn't look that shocking but I suspect that upwards to 90% probably is just games in my library that I never touched. And thats the point where you realize that there is something wrong with you and that St. Gaben is a master manipulator.

Not that bad considering the account is +14 years old. I rarely buy stuff directly from Steam though, especially since the sales have gone to shit.

Anodyne 2: Return to Dust, the sequel to the weird Zelda-like indie action game, now in PSX-style 3D graphics:

Wishlist Anodyne 2 today! Enter an evocative, surreal, lo-fi 3D world. The follow up to 2013's Anodyne is finally here!

Play as Nova, the Nano Cleaner, who is tasked with collect dangerous Nano Dust growing throughout New Theland, which must be returned for recycling to a mysterious entity, only known as the "Center".

Walk or ride across a lush, moody 3D world. Discover strange characters and places. Shrink into characters and collect Nano Dust through vignette-style gameplay, reminiscent of Anodyne's gameplay and more.

Discover the true nature of the Nano Dust, Nova, and The Center, in the latest game from Analgesic Productions.

Anodyne 2: Return to Dust is coming early 2019 for Windows and Mac OSX. Much like Final Fantasy, there's no need to play Anodyne 1 to understand Anodyne 2's story.

Analgesic Productions is Joni Kittaka and Sean Han Tani. Be sure to visit our website to join the newsletter. We're also the creators of Even the Ocean, All Our Asias, Bratavism, and more.

:lol::lol: and i have 86 games  1,73 $ per game with titles like Dragons Dogma, Nioh or Valkyria Chronicles.

seems like steam does not count titles bought from g2a/cdkeys etc. pretty much any external game seller

Considering I opened the account roughly 10 years ago (late 2008), that's about $200 a year spent on games.

Not bad, really. I don't spend much off Steam. I bought only a handful of games on GOG and usually for $5 or less.

So summer Steam sale beginning tomorrow. What do we want?

The only thing I want is at least 70% off from War of the Chosen.
I have a "soft" wishlist of 25 titles. I mean, nothing too pressing. Nor too essential, actually. If the discounts are good...

I might get War of the Chosen as well if it gets that kind of reduction. Then again I might not, I'm not sure it's worth it without Long War.
