It's kind of hard to imagine how someone can get motion sickness from games. I can explain it to myself, like the brain is thinking your body is moving by the signals from your eyes, but it's weird. The only time I ever get motion sickness is if I'm reading in a moving car. Oh well, it's interesting nonetheless. Too bad she probably won't be able to play it, seeing as she's a huge fan of the setting.

Buy a Rift, drink a few beers and play a fast vr racing game while standing. Now you know motion sickness.

What are european games? There is western and there is asian, in games' world. Certainly there aren't some group of european games with nudity that 'muricans haven't seen/played/heard about. This isn't TV/cinema.

People complain about FPP but I'm actually quite enthusiastic about CP2077. With slow-mo, sliding, wall-running and super jumping it can be a great FPS.

There have been few FPP RPGs out there like Bloodlines or New Vegas. With the camera shifting to TPP during dialogues and driving I am fairly certain the devs know what they are doing.

The criticism from author of Neuromancer is kinda toxic - I get a vibe he is upset that CDP RED didn't go with his vision of Cyberpunk world and instead with Pondsmith which is exactly why this year's E3 trailer was in daylight - and how unique the game and universe can be if you mix it up a little.

I think this game is planned to be released at June-August or maybe fall in 2019 unless there is a delay. CDP RED could've just went to LA this year and just give interviews instead of showing nearly an hour of gameplay behind doors. They probably won't give a release date until there is like 6 months left to finalize things to give them some breathing room. That's how I feel and probably that's what they were aiming for at E3.

Apparently dialogues play in FPP also, that they have a dialogue system responding to where player's looking etc. only cutscenes and driving(optional) aren't FPP.

Dunno about resolution, but it's an E3 build so there's no intense optimization pass. Game will also be downgraded come release so there's no worries really.

From the impressions of one dude (non-english). He said he didn't like all of it (which is something), but says that it's very good and unique. I guess some of it is known already.
  • Stylistically it's something like a comics from 80s. Very punk and not like Deus Ex.
  • Visuals are good, but nothing out of the ordinary, probably because (as he explains) of the large and very detailed city. CDPR said that it is not scripted for the presentation.
  • He said that perhaps it will not be as catchy as Witcher, since not many read Neuromancer and actually understand what this is all about. CDPR are working on it though (heavy marketing incoming).
  • He said that Gibson was too quick in his judgment, and Cyberpunk 2077 is very close to the roots: gangs, punks, freaks, corporate espionage, backstabbing, etc.
  • There are animations for every implant, so you see the whole process of it being installed into the body.
  • And that kind of things are everywhere, lots of details.
  • Apparently you have a partner and you sleep together. It was male since the main character was female.
  • The game is "evil": gore, violence and nudity everywhere.
  • There were some kind of investigation quests.
  • It's too early to tell, but levels are seems to be non-linear. You can complete them differently depending on your skills.
  • Gunfight is surprisingly good, but he didn't like the damage numbers.
  • The hand implants (like on that girl from the 2013 trailer) can be used for wall climbing (and for stealth).
  • The character generator is fairly good with variety.
  • You can make drugs.
  • Apparently vehicle controls were pretty bad. They know this and said that it simply wasn't ready.
