Do you think that portraits in Bg2 were better? Not art quality/style, but the people depicted.

They maybe have more ?character? , but the people are uglier or sameish, def. not more baseline beautiful.

I 'll talk about only BG2. The portraits are often objectively bad, and still all the romanceable women in it are indeed romanceable from the perspective of looks. So yes, I prefer them (even if they are objectively bad art). The portraits in uglyPOEple bring me depression just by looking at them.
