I actually would like an Early-Access category. At least that would give us some titles to possibly keep your eye on (or even try out).
But what would you include there? If it's just the games released in EA this year, most of those would be 1) very barebones stuff 2) played by a couple of people at most. And if it's just the games in EA now, then what would you do with those that spend years in EA?

Yeah, Early Access titles are a nightmare... there's a huge number of them, and many of them will never be released, or will fail to deliver what they promise.

I would likely vote for Low Magic Age because I think it has a lot of potential but it could be 2 more years until it releases, and it might suck... better to wait for the full release.

Codex 2014 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy
On one hand I was very slack on the RPG front in 2017 as I only played two titles on the list... and neither of them is worthy of praise. So it's unlikely I'll cast a vote this year.

On the other hand GRIMOIRE! :)

Good year. Last one had Dark Souls 3 (which is more of an action adventure game) and Tyranny, also Banner Saga 2 which was really a direct continuation of BS1. But this year I've thoroughly enjoyed Divinity Original Sin 2, West of Loathing an I've just started looking at Unexplored which is roguelike. I also suffered through Torment Numenera. There was also Mass Effect Andromeda which was OK I guess. I didn't get to ELEX and Nier Automata and I hear all kinds of things about those game.

Remember guys this isn't the actual GOTY 2017 poll so you may want to save your discussion for when we post that. :M felipepepe just wants to know if he missed any game that came out last year.
