Just replayed a bunch of old games. From the top of my head I finished these:
Age of Decadence - Finally got the last version and completed a bunch of playthroughs. Strongest character was probably my dodge-hammer-crafting assassin, ended up joining Meru and smashing pleb skulls while looking mighty stylish. Thief playthrough was fun as well, really enjoyed betraying Glabrio. Expanded temple content was a bit of a let-down though and the game still has some unresolved bugs. Still, it's an amazing game that provides excellent entertainment.
Gangsters: Organized Crime - Replayed a couple of scenarios like South of the River (horribly hand-holding), it was featured in the demo back in the day and I got nostalgic. Gang in the top left actually went bankrupt due to its shitty territory. The scenario with one big dominant gang is also surprisingly easy, the AI doesn't go after your territory and tends to implode on its own, so I just sat in my corner and built a super prosperous free state with casinos, speakeasies and what have you, also converted tenement blocks to department stores and so on. Random maps are more fun, but I need to get into modding the files so I can adjust the police count, all those damn cops turn every single gang-fight into a massacre, 100% no-fun-allowed Sawyer crew.
Grand Theft Auto - Played through it and had a blast, some kind soul
modded it for modern machines which was an absolute God-send. Tried to finish all missions and kill frenzies on all maps, but sheeeit, ain't easy! Only managed to clear the first two, then I got repeatedly stuck on the Chinamon map. Was so close once, had like one mission left and then I killed myself by picking rocket launcher instead of flamer blowing myself up like a complete chump. One day maybe. Still drunkenly finished the game of course.
King of Dragon Pass - Completed a long game as a war tribe, good stuff as always. Having the shrine to Maran Gor helps a ton, both with raids and the end-game marriage. I picked Ves Venna as ancestral foe, a pretty solid choice I think, get clan magic for fighting the ice demons and you can go raiding in dark season with no penalty.
Patrician III - Won a game by becoming Alderman, no time limit though, just filthy casual play. Started in Stockholm and filled up the whole city with ironworks and ore smelters. Made yuge bucks by engaging in sneaky piracy raiding towns, manually slogging through the most boring combat ever made against stationary bombardment towers. Made most of my late-game profits by sending expeditions to degoland. Final mission to become Alderman nearly ruined me though, had to build a town from scratch. Way cheaper to just hunt pirates I found.
SimCity 2000 - Made a
pretty city and soldiered through to the end. All in all, it was quite peaceful and pleasant, but the game really didn't hold up like I expected it to.
Sword of the Samurai - Finished RK's LP because he got me killed. Great game, should get a new version one of these days. Well, as long as they don't touch the graphics.
Underrail - Played through the game as an Assault Rifle Metal Armor dude dakka-dakking everything, and then as a sneaky pure PSI chap. The latter is definitely the strongest build I think, went mainly for thought control on the psychosis route and owned pretty much every late-game fight. Could also complete the side-quests for Abram and get a ton of juicy lore content.
