Codex 2014 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy
Rise of the Dragon and Heart of China use the same engine as Willy Beamish, and use static images to portray each location instead of creating a "room" and having your character move about in it. They feature "hi-res" VGA graphics scanned from photos (or something similar to that) and some digitized sound and speech.

Rise of the Dragon is a decent cyberpunk game, while Heart of China takes place in 1930s China. They also have (skippable) arcade action sequences.

(All of this based on 25+ year-old memories of playign this game. Actual gameplay may differ somewhat.)

No clue on Conqueror.

I remember reading a review of Conqueror A.D. 1086 back in 1995, but the only two things I recall from it are that final score was mediocre (something around 6/10) and that the review recommended to get killed at list once in the game, to see a cool death outro.

Divinity: Original Sin
Are any of these good?
/selfplug

I really like both Rise and Heart, they're relatively easy but excellent adventure games with branching, lots of optional contents, multiple endings, solid puzzles and good writing. Heart in particular has a sense of fun and adventure that you rarely find in adventure games, especially recently.

Hell yeah.

My GOG wishlist has gotten big again after being reduced to zero for a long time. None of this new wave of Sierra games have had a significant sale yet.

What happened with Hard West? People were buzzed cause "like X-Com, turn based with RNG but in western theme" then everyone forgot about it.

A little oversight in the final part (5 minutes before outro and credits roll) because timer is tied to CPU. Welp.

There's another, more plausible theory making rounds on the gog forums:
