hated : does no longer apply since I grew up and had no problem finishing the game yesterday.

But seriously. Time limit is the least of Fallout 1's problem. It's just the ridiculous invasion time-limit especially for Necropolis and Followers of the Apocalypse which prevented them from getting good endings if you don't finish the game under 100 days, of which can be corrected with mods.
