Urgh, I am so much slower than you people, currently in the maze in the first island... and that damn sarcastic rat, I have no idea how to keep it alive :(
I killed that one but saved the other rat by casting haste on it

You know I think I've played enough to notice something . 2h strength weapons are utterly dominant at dealing physical damage and not because they are op by themselves , the other options are lacking . If you are going 2h it's very likely that you are going to invest heavily in warfare , so you get that sweet multiplicative bonus for each level of it and it works in any situation , while the scoundrel (read rogue with daggers) is required to position himself properly to git his bonus to kick in , same goes for huntsman .2h also get the biggest flat damage on their items , nothing compares to them and weapon skill is really good as well , giving you damage boost and more powerful crit , while said dual wield users get measly dodge . Shield bearers just got one of their best tools - reactive armor nerfed . So what the fuck Larian ?!
I found Scoundrel and two daggers and warfare to be pretty potent.Scoundrel have backstab and clock and dagger(teleport) and a trait that gives you one free move.I could do tree backstabs in the first round.

I just got my self a lizard whore....and got robbed.Anyway that sex dialogue is the worst fanfic porn i have seen.It must become part of the next fifty shades of shit movie.
The whole romance shit in this game is fanfic quality, the absolute bottom kind, I think it's actually even worse than your usual bioware shit. Overall I've found the writing in this game to be decent to good, but the romance stuffs feel obviously tacked on, an after thought.

Found the stupid Obsidian Lancet. After 1+1/2 hours of searching. Its location could've been much worse. Good thing the journal mentions the day and hour of when you complete a quest's step, and I searched around the areas of the side quests that I'vecompleted immediately after the ritual quest.

And I was right, I threw it because it looked like a generic fucking item. Worst part is, I could've missed it because it has white quality, not piss-white like the other important items. No wonder so many people threw this shit away. Leave it for some Codex twat to say that item color cues are not important. The lengths some retards go to defend their false notions of "incline".

Don't litter

Welp, seems like I'm the only one who likes romance writing in this game. Chose Beast's dialogue expecting lolwat reaction, he turned out to be a much more genuine person than I initially thought and opened himself up more to me. But then again I can easily be impressed so... :salute:

Meh i killed that liberal stump the moment he begun to whine about how bad patriots and nationalists are. From him i learned that you should start a revolution when your ruler begins using country flags.

Anyway, another thing about the content I forgot to ask about: atmosphere, world design, area design.
Speaking only of the 1st act - Fort Joy, I would say the atmosphere is non-existent. The idea of an oppressive, inquisitorial regime which turns people into mindless zombies to "cure" them of magic, the grey moral area that they might not actually be wrong since transdimensional demons are attracted to said magic is quite interesting in theory. In practice, there is no feeling of oppression, the void creatures are pretty much a joke, which is not helped by the fact they are literally overgrown bugs, there is never anything that would make you feel you are in a prison - you can openly carry weapons, there are people selling magic books and you have a constant feeling that in the event of an uprising the magisters would be wiped out fast. Add to that the "secret" arena which is literally a trap door in the middle of the fort where you get crowned Neo teh One, the fact that the optimal way (and on non-nerfed tactician, might be the only sane way) to solve the area is literal genocide and that the only ones who are actually expressing anything realistic emotion-wise in regards to being trapped for life by a brutal inquisitorial force are the animals, I would say atmosphere is shit.

I agree. The whole idea behind the collars is kinda weird as well if you think about it. Casting a bunch of spells is BAD, but casting fireball or impalement or whatever the fuck else is totally fine, in fact there's a shitload of merchants who sell skill books and weapons. Oh, you are blocked from casting source magic, it's EVIL cause it summons evil bugs, but feel free to create massive fire fields wherever you want. They really fucked up the atmosphere in Fort Joy.

Source magic is not even needed to overthrow that place, as you obviously know from killing everyone in that place, not considering the way those supposedly oppressed prisoners are armed.

Probably the worst prison I have ever seen in gaming. At worst a guard may be a bit of a dick to you, OR he might ask you for help dealing with his problems. 50/50 chance. What a scary place.

I was thinking about 2 lone wolves playthrough with one of them being a scoundrel/warfare hybrid with daggers and thought , that it will be a plain inferior build compared to my warfare/necromancer , who just shits out cc and damage while being nigh unkillable thanks to leeching + death wish + living on the edge . The only problem I have is lack of ap , which could've been solved by lone wolf trait . I also seen people reporting that scoundrel scales poorly in the late game , while warrior only gets stronger and I've never felt like my 2h warrior was weak .

So I was browsing imageboards and some anon leaked story spoilers that greatly relieved frustration I was experiencing of late .
WARNING HUGE STORY SPOILERS
I'm serious about this one
Lucian is alive and wants to get rid of source once and for all . You can help him and it's one of available endings . Every race of Rivelon was created by gods to increase their power , in course of their life a person accumulates source and then transfers it the gods when it dies . As alternative to getting rid of source in the end you can become the next divine , make every companion a bit of the divine or make some 8th god a new ruler , but don't know anything about him .

So what the fuck Larian ?!
Why are you so panic? Chief all is lost - they are going to remove the gips, the client going to leave!
Seriously.

Also there is a thing about scoundrels - they got crit multiplayer from every hand, so they got 350% in the end, -50% for off-hand which mean 300%, according to Pope Amole.

Is it Codexia thing?

I think it is better that claim for seriousness biowares has.

Oh god no, it can't be..
Did Larian go after the bioware audience?

No. Bioware romance is worse by far. It's full of aggravating witty puns, and characters trying to one-up each other in who makes the most "creative" sexual innuendos. No one talks like that before they have sex, which can only lead to one conclusion regarding Bioware. The Dragon Age Inquisition ones made me want to hide under the desk out of second hand embarrassment. Larian's is mildly awkward, covered mostly by he narrator, and no fail animations are involved. But then again the only Romance I've encountered are Fane and the Red Prince with The Red Princess. Not sure how good or bad are the other ones. The Fane one genuenly made me laugh though, and it came out of nowhere.

So any way to remove the DECLINE quest markers? To add to that, how's the technical gameplay compared to the first game, was there an incline?

What quest markers? You mean landmarks?

Make the Codex Great Again! Pathfinder: Wrath
Wow too much of this mental illness homosexuality being forced on the player, I wanted to play an RPG not some degenerate sex fetish game. Also I noticed one of the random NPC Elves is a guy but the text calls him a her. Also a queer cannot be a Paladin what a joke.

We are witnessing the tipping point for Larian but unlike Bioware EA didn't force them to do this they did it to themselves.

Grab the Codex by the pussy
Don't make assumptions then
This is a quality life lesson.
:retarded:

Assumptions are the foundation of critical thought and the scientific method.
Kevin said:
the turnorder system is indeed code-based. As one would expect this is not a simple data file, but an integral part of the underlying game system. Many iterations were done, as it evidently is not the same compared to DOS1, and a lot of balancing and combat design accounts for this system.

It saddens us to hear you do not like it, but we're happy to get your feedback on it. Both for modding improvements as general combat design experience, it would be great to hear what you guys would think is a better/optimal combat system. So please, do leave some systemic explanations below for us to take to heart and we'll go over them

Are you talking about the spirit at the troll bridge? I genuinely thought that was a bug/design change and they changed their mind about the character's gender due to VA availability, but what you're saying does make sense. Really makes you think.

I doubt that. Bioware did this to themselves.

I feel the same. The more I play the more weaknesses I see. Liike the lack of reactivity of NPCs towards any big change in their environment (walked through Fort Joy's ghetto after I killed Griff's gang and every damn magisters to the last but it's like nobody there realized what happened and Nebora will keep her collar on even though she pergfectly knows how to remove it).But until now, nothing crippling enough to taint the pleasure or push me out of the game (fingers crossed).
Yeah, that part is rather sad. There is reactivity for things you directly affect in quests, but a lot of times something that should have some reactivity doesn't.
Where the fuck are my evil choices in the dialogue menu, why can't I be an asshole to everyone, why can't I tell my companions to eat shit and die when they give me snarky comments, which is 90% of the time I speak with them.
Why can't I tell that bitch Sebille to go fuck herself, instead my usual dialogue choice is '' Tell her this cause you don't want to anger her'' boo fucking hoo,who the fuck is the pansy ass behind these dialogue choices?

How the fuck did you go from the perfectly fine dialogue style in Divine Divinity,Beyond Divinity and Divinity 2 to this mentaly retarded 3rd person ''Tell him that, tell him this, ask him this, ask him that, wonder here, wonder there'',what in the name of god were they thinking to change something that shouldn't be touched in the first place.

Why are you trying to ruin the normal course of the universe you stupid belgian second grade french speaking frog eating motherfuckers.

Whoever defends these changes should be flayed alive and locked in a room with a naked Hillary Clinton
If you want to play a edgelord you clearly need to have activated the edgelord tag.

Damn right I want to play as an edgelord, like in 90% of the fucking rpgs out there, but not in poor DoS 2,you don't want to hurt NPC's fee fees.

I want fucking Tyranny level of edgelord, where everyone would shut the fuck up and listen or they get five across the eyes.I want Dragon Age Origins level of edgelord, where gay ass Zevran gets executed the first moment I see his face

Where the fuck is the edgelord in this game, everyone keeps threatening me and my dialogue choices are pitiful and laughable.
why do you dialogue?

The sex scenes are definitely better in DOS 2 than any bioware game, it's just that the romance build up is really lame.

The existence of "sex scenes" at ALL means that Swen has become a false prophet.

At all? Even straight ones? Prude motherfuckers are nearly as bad as SJWs who bitch about the presence of revealing women and whores in GTA. Don't be ridiculous as to be offended by this kind of shit. If you don't like it, play games that are tagged as E for Everyone.

Take your popamole normalfag shit back to your faggot mediums like movies and television. Sex scenes have no place in incline mechanics systems that are about gameplay.

I don't see the problem. The whole game is shit and that sjw romance crap the least of its problems. I'm just sorry for people who backed/bought it hoping Larian would improve upon D:OS1.
