With so many threads about the worst RPGs out there, you would think there would have to be one on the best RPGs; however, there hasn't been one as far as I've noticed; so I've decided to fill the gap in the market. Feel free to discuss what method you think is appropriate for choosing one as well.

Based on how often I decide to start playing the game again, the top place for me goes to Daggerfall. Might & Magic VI would be second.

The first RPG you really loved. For me it was Ultima Underworld. Still my fav of all time and to this day (IMO) unmatched in first person single player RPGs.

Can't decide between them. Whole franchise is pretty good. It's only the spinoff RPG WATCH that sucks, though it's not like it has active* player base.

*active as in able to wipe own ass and log into My Space account without nurse's help.
