Yeah, no way am I reading all of that.

That's fine, I am not surprised. You might find the videos interesting, though. But either way, I'm glad that we've had this discussion. I feel a great bond to its every participant, and a great personal respect to you, my dude.

This was the most gentle and lubricated ass f***ing ive seen in any thread so far. Hats of & respect, man. I thought at first you were some ass kissing p***y, but you stayed the course and, in the porn language, just let it slide in gently. Takes talent for that.

Hah, cheated my jade in the spider cave for runecraft by shooting those damned spiders w xbow from edge of entrance stage. Since they are too strong now, i couldnt escape(no jumping during fight), so i just shot them to hell slowly. And during that time i discovered something interesting. If you just spam shots normally he shoots consecutively, but if you aim first and continue spamming shots, it stays in aim mod and can shoot farther, so its easier. And since they couldnt reach me on the ledge, it wasnt a problem if they web me. Take that you runaway bastards! Take a shot of your own medicine!

I've just finished Hearts of Stone. The plot, pacing, characters, motivations, etc. were so much better than anything in the vanilla. Would make a much better game on its own. Just throw the open world out the window and give some fat on every quest. The gameplay itself was very boring, but that's the overall game design's fault. The witcher senses, uuugh.

So, I've finished the Blood and Wine add-on and it was pretty much underwhelming in all aspects. It starts out good, but the actual story development feels rushed and the plot twist was too fucking cheap. The word "forced" is, I think, a key to this add-on. Everything, after the introductory quest when we meet Regis, feels painfully forced. The story was kinda making sense until the twist, after that, it went downhill the cringe and "get on with it, ffs" route. I was given no reasons to side either with Detlaff or the double crossing princess, even more so when the said princess is an entitled and manipulative bitch (why the player has options to support her vocally - "yeah, I get you, babe!" is beyond me), but a forced sex scene (at least I had an option to say "no", but what kind of a shit build up was that?) on a giant's corpse was just a little too much for me. The fable world, extremely entertaining at first, again feels awfully forced ("wouldn't it be cool if...") in the grand picture, disattached from everything of importance. It just proves how bancrupt this game is, gameplay-wise, because while delivering such an amazing material, the only way to solve everything in the fable realm is fucking combat. No clever puzzles, no branching dialogues, nothing.
The open world stuff is once again a treat for grind fetishists, and even though the environments look extremely nice and Bouclair is overall hundreds time better thought through and not blobbed out when compared to Novigrad, there's nothing interesting to do (just like in the base game). Few interesting side quests (eg. safari or the talking Roach), but they don't break up the game's sickening gameplay loop. Enemy quantities were too bloated for my liking but still easily solvable with enhanced splitting granades.
An attempt to make the character development more interesting are ultimately pointless, as well. Giving you some bonus traits and additional slots for skills didn't change anything. It's still an awful game when it comes to gameplay. New items are fucking pointless and I managed to play through the main quests in my knight armor, the Everec's steel sword and some (master quality) silver sword from the cat set (playing on the highest difficulty).

I read a couple of early stories, 15 or 16 years ago. If I recall correctly one was published in Fantastyka's old issues and the others in the first tome (Ostatnie życzenie). But, I don't like fantasy in general. I don't know if that would change my perception, because a feeling of forcing the content in this add-on was unbearable to me.

Well, in the books Geralt fucks the most asshole cunt bitch women pretty much because he feels like it, I don't see why he'd reject fucking Syanna.
I really don't know what you mean by "forced" though. Like, is something out of place? A character that shouldn't be there? I think reasons for siding with Detlaff are that Syanna is potentially extremely dangerous, and will kill Anna Henrietta, a character that you have possibly grown fond of, and who happens to be the ruler of the land; unfortunately he razes the city anyway so this obviously should create some conflict in you. Reasons for siding with Syanna - ??? maybe you fell for the sex bait, you want to save her like the Duchess asked you to, you're committed to your contract and just want to do the job and get out.
I agree that the Detlaff/Syanna story was pretty fucking bad. They tried to play the "vampires are extremely vulnerable to strong emotions" angle to justify Detlaff's shit but I ain't buyin' it. Sounds like a cop out.
I really liked Regis, felt like meeting an old friend. I think CDPR did a competent job with him and his voice acting was surprisingly good as well.
One thing that surprised me about the expansion was the scene with the Vampire Elder where he tells you to get to the point or die, and if you actually keep asking bullshit questions he'll straight up kill you. Wasn't expecting that.

Her bitchiness aside, I was talking mainly about the build up. There was practically none, aside of her shit dominatrix outfit, and her bursting out "Geralt - I need a man - please fuck me" over a giant's corpse while the capital is being sucked dry by vampires. By "forced", yes, I mean out of place and disattached content the story and the main premise could do just fine without, from my viewpoint. Eg. the fable world. It's cool within itself, visually, but its potential is lost, since it's just another arena where the game forces the player to constantly fight, because it is too bancrupt gameplay wise to do otherwise. It was also literally shoved down my throat in the middle of a peaking story drama. Characters' emotions and motivations change on a whim throughout the story. Again - the fable world just shoves its finger up your anus and you can't really skip it - you need to slog through it swinging your sword. The only stable and reasonable guys were Regis (as you pointed out) and that chief with a moustache. The main premise is, again, fighting against running time (we need to catch the beast omg!), but cd project once again didn't even attempt to fuck with the vast majority of their audience by implementing any kind of timer or more clever ways to execute their story. It's again about following a dot on your map to kill mostly innocent people who just got caught in the fight. I think that after the murder in the gardens, the only somehow enjoyable main quest for me (Regis blood farming doesn't count, it's a shit wave arena,) where the game actually lets you do anything on your own, was the cursed wight. Nothing special and pretty much ruined with "use the witcher senses" gimmick, but it stands out from the rest, in my opinion. It also has a pay off (you can interact with the saved grandma) that goes further than 30 seconds after the quest is finished. The insta death in the dialogue is nice, nice. But that's pretty much it. The lack of creativity and absolutely no attempt to change abysmal gameplay killed this for me.

CDPR went Biowarian with Witcher 3. 1 sex scene for each love interest/per dlc, tho Syanna would be just sex interest. Too bad sex scene production quality is way worse than W2. Tho my Geraldo didn't fuck Syanna and only fucked Shani cos he learned Yen wouldn't know.

Yen wouldn't know.

Yen always knows. She can read Geralt's mind. She just tries not to look suspicious, so that she can enact her revenge when he least expects it - and she does so by penetrating Geralt's ass with unicorn's horn.

PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath
I don't generally like fantasy, and I don't like open world games, and I wasn't feeling like playing this expansion to a game, but I played it anyway.

And then everything felt forced, hence the expansion sucks.

Blood and Wine is a weaker expansion than Hearts of Stone because almost every single issue present in the vanilla is present here too, some of that cranked up to 11. Whereas HoS was more tightly-knit experience, and therefore stronger in narrative (and pretty much everything else), BnW is another open-world grind n' loot fest that is tailored around a quest with false sense of urgency, side quests which are very repetitive, some excellent written characters along with some poorly thought out ones (including the main villain who started off well, but his development was kinda scrapped in favor of making him a huge and obligatory monster to fight), Bethtards pandering (you have your own house which you can customize and shit), horrible OP mutation addition to already broken combat and leveling systems and another awful case of "minuscule dialogue choice determines the final outcome of the game" mechanic that plagued dialogues with Ciri in vanilla - effectively killing so many more meaningful ways Geralt could have interacted with here back then, and again here with the sisters.

On the plus side, it's visually fantastic (though I did mind that bluish filter a bit), has an awesome soundtrack, has Regis who is done really well (out of many characters from books who made an appearance in games, Regis is one of those who had the best transition - even his death was retconned relatively well), has some nice and unique side-quests (Vivienne, grand tournament, talking Roach etc.), and I gotta admit, even though I didn't like the way Detlaff's character arc was done, his monster form was a well designed fight - probably the only better boss fight in the game is with The Caretaker. Also, I believe that the ending (depending on your choices throughout vanilla and BnW, naturally) wrapped Geralt's story real nice. Ambiguity between an retirement plan and a return to the Path was something I appreciated. I kinda hope CDPR really leaves Geralt's story at that, it's a good ending.

Wait, really? Personally I thought every fight in the game was complete shit because the bosses will repeat the same 3 moves in the exact same sequence until their HP bar hits 0. I really didn't like the fight. I thought in terms of atmosphere and presentation it was good, but in gameplay terms it was very bad. The only fight I think I liked in the entire game was the one in Hearts of Stone - Iris' Greatest Fear.

Well, pretty much that. None of the boss fights are anything to write home about from the gameplay perspective, simply because gameplay as a whole is lacklustre, so the fight quality mostly boils down to aesthetics and atmosphere.
Iris' Greatest Fear was Olgierd x7 or something, IIRC? Dunno, I didn't find it that memorable from combat side. However, HoS as a whole is fantastically designed, and that fight was awesome as the final segment in the manor.

I watched new Kingdom Come videos and that reminded me something from Twitcher3 - played both vanilla and GotY version of TW3 I remember feature where double tapping Shift (I guess?) turn on sort of autopilot for Roach when riding on the roads, but then I could not repeat it in GoTY version.
What's the deal? Did they removed it? Or maybe my keyboard got keys stuck or something?

I did not installed any mod for any of them.

Only got temptation to install "fast travel everywhere" but speedhacks did job better.
