On one hand Sanderson produces shit prose and pathetic excuses for characters but on the other hand he actually puts some thought into his magic systems and plotting. More importantly he actually finishes what he starts and you won't be left hanging for 15 years for no fucking reason.

Some Mormon work ethic could do many of the lazy POS authors out the some good.
