Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Used to love those old JRPGs where you can gamble.
'Recent' RPGs like Fallout New Vegas have casinos but the gambling isn't fun.
Borderlands 2 have slot machines or one-arm-bandit, a good source for decent weapons which I like to play but cannot compare to those JRPGs.

Know of any game with good gambling? I think those Diablo clones might have some. Pegleg's mystery item is sort of gambling.
Not looking for gambling games, more of a side bonus.

How far back do you want to go?

Far too many of the old "classical" Sierra On-Line games had gambling mini-games, but they were always tied to the main game, and not optional.

I think Yakuza simulated Pachinko. And for sure simulated golf.

I actually liked these minigames like cards, or blitzball matches, than gambling.

In Red Dead Redemption you can play poker (Texas Hold'em), and it's pretty realistic with opponents that have decent AI (even of it can become easy because you can cheat at some point IIRC). I spent many hours playing poker, it was good fun.

GTA: San Andreas has slotmachines and a slew of other gambling opportunities. You can even run a debt, and when it becomes too big, armed goons try to coerce you in to paying back.

I'm assuming you've already played most of the JRPGS that have slot machines? Most Dragon Quest titles do. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 do I believe.
