I thought the early consensus was that it was going to be crap and that PB are crap. When did this change, or are we all now involved in a shared hallucination?

The fact that the pc version of the game is finished since last month and it was only delayed because of console retards is leting my hope grow for a good ol' piranha game.
They have 3 1/2 months left to polish the game. I also heard that they had a lot more creative freedom with Nordic this time. Deepsilver were a lot more strict when it
comes to design decissions in the Risen series. They are really happy that they are out of that publishing deal.

Looks to me like the best open world rpg ever created to this date.
No shit moves and stiff animations like gothic.
No shit combat like twitcher 3.
Open world and content looks decent compared to Skyrim.
And the game looks like it gives players plenty of options to play in various ways.
