50 minutes after the Sales' start and the Store is still a mess due to increased traffic, one would think that Gabe should be able to prevent this after the first 70 times his sales crippled the servers but no. It's almost like a ritual now.

Checking back again tomorrow, hope it's stabilized a bit by then.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
So um, I bought Dishonored 2 for $23 12 hours ago because I didn't think those bastards would put the game on sale for 50% after decreasing base price. So now I'm feeling like
:despair:
Steam is kinda haywire atm. I'm looking at Thumbleweed Park store page, press F5, discount magically disappears, press F5 again, discount reappears, press add to cart, discount disappears again, press F5 again, the game deleted itself from the cart. :rpgcodex:

Indeed, from what I am seeing, most of the Steam games that are also on GOG are at the same discounts they were during the GOG sale. Tides of Numanuma is slightly cheaper than it was on the GOG sale. Not that it matters.

Intriguing, but highly disturbing.

Turns out I wasted like 5€ in the DE of XCOM2.
The discount is indeed higher than it was last week.

I feel like I've said this before, but I'll say it again: There are only two reasons for Steam being like this every year.

One: That no matter how many servers Valve throws at Steam during times like these, the demand will always outmatch the supply by far.

Two: Valve just doesn't give a shit, they'll get rich anyway.
