"Great Soundtrack" tag a good judge of a game?

Well first of all, I don't watch LPs and don't really like them either, but the difference is that you can look at a LP of recorded gameplay and you are seeing gameplay, just like you would be seeing gameplay in a trailer. In this way it can serve some of the same purpose of a game trailer, especially if, as you claim, the creators of the game are unable to give an idea of what a game is like with their own trailer.

If I watch someone watching a movie I am looking at a person. This give me no notion of what a movie is like. Even their emotional response is useless as I have no idea what is happening on the screen. So it serves none of the same functionality as a movie trailer.

To summarise:

Game LP = in some ways like a game trailer
Watching someone watch a movie = Nothing like a movie trailer

In any instance, I think it's fair to say that you're pretty worked up over the fucking tag system and trailers, when really your greatest obstacle standing in the way of playing games, is whining about these things on RPG Codex.

In like to go into houses at night and watch the occupants sleep. In my defense its less weird than watching people sleep on the internet.

Isn't there an option on Steam to filter out tags of games you don't want to see?

I don't remember how to get to it, but I used it to block the majority of anime games from appearing.

Not that I know of. There system seems to want you to see all games and has taken the hippy position that labels are like stupid or something man.
