Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
That game looks like gender bent Crusaders of M&M.

Drakan is much interesting title for me. The world for the time when it was released felt really fantastic. There are some minor detours and places, where we can find additional items that will help us on our journey. Overall, it feels bigger than it really is but the level designers knew how to keep your interest and not to repeat the same "trick" too much. There is only a small RPG-ish element - weapons and inventory. Different damage, attack speed, extra magic attacks. The bows have normal, fire, magic arrows and you go into FPP mode when you zoom up. The fighting system on ground is really simple, but some new elements like ability to cut of hands or spider legs makes it so much better!. Once you get Arokh you "unlock" a second mode for the game. It changes the perspective, makes easier to navigate through the bigger areas. It's an obvious concept, man plus dragon as a team fighting against evil but it works well here.

The second part is probably one of the best sequels ever made. The continent is much bigger, there are many side quests and stuff to do, that it really sucks that it was Playstation 2 exclusive (the first part was only on PC, go figure Japs way of thinking). It works without any problems on PCSX 2, althought the bow aiming is painful.

The soundtrack is still classy, as the whole game.

I can't get over how ugly those sprites are, now that I'm about to play BG1 EE soon.

why don't you just play the original?

SCS is not compatible with the original BG 1, and EE has a couple of improvements over TuTu and BGT. Besides I'm curious to see how they handled monster spawns compared to TuTu. And finally you need BG 1 EE to play Siege of Dragonspear.

Did they change the sprites? I don't remember how they looked in the original, the EEs incorporated the 1pp mod. Also keep in mind those screenshots are zoomed in, the default zoom level on my resolution makes everything looks tiny.

I remember the last time I tried TuTu the spawns were broken, really dumb stuff like 4 bears spawning in the exact same spot of the map clipping each other and each one facing a different direction. I didn't encounter that stuff in my recent BGEE playthrough but it's not perfect, there is still some implausible spawns, like enemies appearing behind the fog of war when backtracking areas that the party crossed only seconds ago, that was specially irritating when facing kobold commandoes (SCS makes those little buggers a pain in the ass).

It's not the zoom; it's only the sprites that look bad, the rest looks fine. And I used the 1pp mod the last time I played BG1 TuTu.

I didn't have those problems with TuTu.
The instant respawns were mighty irritating in the original BG1. I remember parking a character in the central crossroads in Firewine ruins just to prevent all the respawning.

what game is that Konjad?
Spintires.
Yup. I've played some offroad games before, but they were all shit. Spintires is quite good though, and you can play in multiplayer too (and it isn't dead). I just started playing today so I don't even know how to play, but just driving around is enjoyable in itself.

If you ever get it, we can play together!

I'd say it primarily looks very non-shovelwarey for something that's basically being made by just one guy.

Didn't like the game initially, due to many new things and lack of regular things (fucking throwing axes, mang), but it grew on me due to difficulty. Plus incline is inevitable:

I think the sprites and backgrounds will look as they did in the original games if the alternative renderer is used.
