What the fuck?! I was an admin/mod for Jesus knows how many years and I never saw a single eightball or even a gram from Beth or Bio. Think I'm owed a hefty "tax refund" from those involved.

Really, though, I've got to give props to the various indie developers who regularly came through (review/preview/beta copies, promptly answering emails, time spent not just on interviews but also talking "off the clock", etc). Granted it was in their interest to garner any publicity they could but many were fellow niche game nerds who liked to connect with folks on the same wavelength (e.g. not having to explain what getting inside an enemies OODA loop meant).

Now about my eightballs....
