Is that Disease healer -> Healer intended as a buff?

I just recently found out that it does have some downsides. Healer(3) character that spent her turns curing afflictions like weakness and crippled or whatever while expensive mages slowly died to diseases.

Yes, it's intended as a buff. Actually I now realize I didn't remove the Disease Healer from them, so they have both. I think that's ok actually - and makes it a straightforward buff without downsides.
